The Neighbors reboot has been a huge flop for Channel 10.

Neighbors only debuted three weeks ago, bumping The Bold and the Beautiful from its usual 4:30 p.m. timeslot to 4 p.m., angering fans of the American soap.

Bold has now returned to its original timeslot and Neighbors now runs Monday to Thursday at 4pm, with repeats of Judge Judy on Fridays.

Each episode of Neighbors will then be repeated on 10Peach at 6:30 PM.

“We have listened to the demands of our loyal viewers to return The Bold & Beautiful to its original timeslot,” a Channel 10 spokesperson told the industry blog. TV black box on Thursday.

Neighbors returns to screens on September 18 after being axed last year and has failed to attract a strong audience despite the appeal of American actress and The OC star Misha Barton.

The show’s first episode attracted a total of just 244,000 TV viewers and just 122,000 fans in the five metro areas that tuned in.

Meanwhile, another 68,000 fans saw the debut episode on catch-up platforms including 10Play and 10Peach.

A further 54,000 viewers watched the show in regional areas, for a total national audience of 174,000.

Monday’s total TV audience of 244,000 comes after what was supposed to be the show’s final in July last year attracted 1.09 million viewers.

Over the past week, the show’s ratings have slumped, with just 99,000 fans in major centers tuning in on Monday, while the encore screening on 10Peach attracted a whopping 30,000 viewers.

The Bold and the Beautiful has achieved better ratings for Channel 10 this past week.

On Monday, the soap, which has been running in the US since 1987, attracted 109,000 viewers in the metro ratings at 4 p.m., while on Wednesday it managed to reach 106,000 viewers.

In Australia, Network 10 will retain first-run rights for the series, and episodes will be available ad-free on Prime Video seven days later.

Internationally, Neighbors will be available on Amazon Freevee in the UK and US, and Prime Video in Canada, Ireland and South Africa.
