More bad news for Apple: iPhone 15 Pro users furious after discovering back edges 'peeling' due to possible manufacturing defect

Apple's iPhone 15 Pro is under fire again after some consumers expressed outrage after the device was found to be falling apart less than two months after purchase

A Reddit user said they bought their iPhone 15 Pro just a month and a half ago, but noticed the back edges were peeling off after they removed the case to clean it.

The user, who goes by the name mr_rakue, said he was using a Rhinoshield Mod NX case but didn't believe it could affect the phone.

The post caught the attention of other iPhone 15 owners who experienced the same problem, with one noting that they took their smartphone to an Apple Store and were told it was a manufacturing issue.

The claims come just a week after Apple's smartwatch was pulled from shelves amid patent infringement claims, but the tech giant's appeal saw them temporarily put back on sale.

“I'm actually surprised this kind of glue is even on the back,” mr_rakue said in the Reddit post.

He continued, “It feels like the whole back is a sticker about to come off.”

Other people replied that they were experiencing a similar problem, with one saying that their iPhone 15 Pro had the same problem just two days after purchasing the device.

The user, who carries JDT33658, said Apple had to replace the entire device when their phone suffered the same problem.

But they added that workers allegedly said “the adhesive used to hold the backing was not applied correctly and was starting to peel because it was sticking out of the edge.”

If the device starts to come loose, users should avoid tampering with it as this may void the iPhone's warranty.

Instead, they must document the problem, contact Apple Support, or take the device to an Apple Store to request replacement or repair options.

Apple did not immediately respond to Dailymail.com's request for comment and has not publicly discussed the matter.

The iPhone 15 model needed a software update after reports of overheating and reduced battery life

The iPhone 15 models quickly ran into problems with users complaining that the iPhone overheated, drained the battery quickly, crashed during setup, had a slow iOS system, and wasn't as durable as previous models.
