Moonshiners star Craig Landry was hospitalized after a horrific electric unicycle accident last month shattered the bones in his jaw, face and hand.

Landry, 49, suffered serious facial injuries following the accident near his home in New Iberia, Louisiana on April 24.

a GoFundMe launched by Landry’s manager says: ‘He was found to have suffered multiple bone fractures in his face, jaw, hand and broken teeth.

“We are so far unclear on the extent of the injuries to the rest of his body, such as his back, neck and legs due to inflammation, but the doctors operated on him on April 28, 2023 to have his jaw wired if it is completely shattered.’

His brother Richard told TMZ that Landry doesn’t remember how the accident happened and only remembers waking up in the ambulance, after some women found him unconscious.

Richard said he doesn’t believe Landry was intoxicated, but that he does suffer from high blood pressure and may have blacked out on his ride.

Moonshiners is an American docudrama television series on the Discovery Channel that dramatizes the lives of people producing (illegal) moonshine in the Appalachian Mountains of Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.

Landry has appeared on the show since 2021.

Richard also revealed that Craig is now recovering at home but is still in a lot of pain and will require further facial surgery.

Craig will not be able to work for the foreseeable future as he fights to recover.

The GoFundMe, which has raised more than $6,000 to date, also reads, “Anyone who has ever met Craig knows what a kind-hearted, sincere, and sincere person he is.” This unfortunate event is truly devastating and will affect him for years to come.

The crash happened while the TV star was competing in a motorcycle race at Florida’s Daytona International Speedway.
