Montana woman, 50, shot her doctor husband, 53, dead in the driveway before turning gun on herself

<br/> <a href=”https://www.krtv.com/privacy-policy” rel=”nofollow” target=”_blank” >KRTV Privacy Policy </a> </div> </div><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>According to <a style=”font-weight: bold;” class=”class” rel=”nofollow noreferrer noopener” target=”_blank” href=”https://www.krtv.com/news/crime-and-courts/gallatin-county-sheriffs-office-investigating-possible-murder-suicide”>KRTV</a>, the couple had no history of domestic violence and no prior incidents had been reported between the two.</p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>As authorities continue to investigate, family and friends are mourning the loss of the couple who worked at Bozeman Health.</p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>An <a style=”font-weight: bold;” class=”class” rel=”nofollow noreferrer noopener” target=”_blank” href=”https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/name/kimberli-jones-obituary?id=36920591″>obituary</a> for Kimberli Jones said the couple are survived by three grown children and said the pair had met while attending Arizona State University, later marrying in July 1991.</p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>’Kimberli loved the outdoors where she enjoyed biking, skiing, and hiking,’ the obituary continued.</p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>’She fell in love with Big Sky, Montana and for the past three years made it her home. Her heart was as big as the outdoors.</p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>’She was always looking for opportunities to serve and assist those in need, particularly children.’</p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>A statement released by Bozeman Health said the community were ‘incredibly saddened to have heard the news.’</p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>’Bozeman Health extends our cared for patients at multiple Bozeman Health care sites, and Kimberli was a former Bozeman Health clinic operations manager,’ the statement said.</p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>One of Jason Jones’ colleagues at the Montana State University Clinic, Lindsey Manning, posted a tribute to him on Facebook saying how he was an ‘integral part’ of their work family.</p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>’He showed up in his cowboy boots and a big silver belt buckle, he came from AZ but was looking very MT and I remember thinking, ‘this guy is awesome,’ she wrote in a post.</p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>’I introduced myself and after chatting for only a few short minutes I knew my initial impression of him was correct; he was in fact awesome.’</p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>Jason Jones’ colleague went on to describe the doctor as a ‘health nut’ who told the best stories about his time growing up and during college.</p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>’He was laid back and was always up for a laugh or joke. He had an infectious smile and was such a warm personality to be around,’ she continued.</p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>Family were shocked by the news, in particular Jason Jones’ brother who posted a tribute to the Trevor Browne TGBHS Alumni page which said he’d just seen his sibling the weekend prior to the incident.</p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>’Thankfully we had the opportunity to see him when he was in town this past weekend,’ he wrote.</p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>’We could have never imagined it would be for the last time or that he would die by being shot to death by his wife just days later. Total nightmare.’</p><p class=”mol-para-with-font”>An autopsy is being conducted as investigations into the matter continue.</p></div></html>
