Mo’Nique is doubling down on claims that Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry had her ‘blackballed’ from Hollywood – and now she’s also taking aim at Tiffany Haddish in a previous dig.
The Academy Award winner, 56, made the announcement during an explosive new interview with Shannon Sharpe Club Shay Shay podcast.
Her feud with Winfrey and Perry dates back to 2009. She previously claimed that her refusal to promote their film Precious ‘for free’ and the omission of Perry, Winfrey and director Lee Daniels from her 2010 Oscars speech led to her being on the ‘ blacklist’ appeared.
Mo’Nique now claims she has audio of Perry confessing to her over the phone that he was the one who started the rumor that she is “difficult to work with.”
She also claimed Perry admitted he was “wrong” and told her he planned to publicly vindicate her after his 2016 film Boo hit theaters.
Sharpe confirmed that he heard the alleged audio himself, but it was not played on the podcast. Mo’Nique insists the way she recorded the conversation with Perry was “legal.”
DailyMail.com has contacted representatives for Winfrey, Perry and Haddish for comment.

After the recorded conversation, Mo’Nique claimed that Perry told singer Stephanie Mills that he would only meet her in person without her husband Sidney Hicks, who is also her manager, present.
He also allegedly demanded that she “publicly apologize” to him and Oprah, saying they “had nothing to do with ruining (her) career.”
Mo’Nique declined the alleged request, telling Sharpe that she thinks Perry is intimidated by how “direct” Sidney is.
It is important to note that Perry has repeatedly denied Mo’Nique’s allegations.
As for Oprah, Mo’Nique believes that the A-list star often “overstepped” over the years — especially when Oprah brought Mo’Nique’s brother Gerald onto her daytime talk show.
Mo’Nique previously revealed in 2008 that Gerald abused her when she was between 7 and 11 years old.
The episode took place after Mo’Nique won the Oscar for Precious – just as their feud was brewing behind the scenes – and featured not only Gerald, but also her mother, father and other brother.
She claims that Oprah called her prior to the taping to let her know that Gerald had contacted her about coming on the show to “apologize” and share how parents can protect their children from predators.
Oprah reportedly asked the actress if she wanted to participate in the show, but she declined because she didn’t want anything to do with Gerald.

She said Oprah told her that if she didn’t want her brother to be on the show, she would cancel the show completely, and Mo’Nique said she respected her for that.
However, she started seeing commercials for the show and discovered that not only Gerald would be on the show, but her mother, father and other brother as well.
She claimed that Oprah never said they would be on the show, and that the actress was in a “bad place” with her mother.
Mo’Nique accused Oprah of apparently stealing two movie roles from her following the Precious fallout.
She claimed that she was originally asked to play the role of Gloria Ganyes in Lee Daniels’ The Butler (2013), as well as the role of Richard Pryor’s grandmother in Daniels’ upcoming biopic about the late stand-up star. Both roles eventually went to Oprah.
She speculated that the TV icon’s status as a billionaire has made it easier for her to get what she wants from movie studios.
As for her feud with Haddish, Mo’Nique cited a 2018 interview with GQ in which the comedian took a swipe at her husband/manager Sidney.

The interview came out amid Mo’Nique’s calls to boycott Netflix over their alleged “gender bias and color bias” when it came to paying comedians for their stand-up specials.
She claimed she was only paid $500,000 for her special, while male comedians like Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock saw multi-million dollar payouts.
She then sued the streamer for discrimination in 2019. In response to the lawsuit, a Netflix spokesperson said the company “takes any allegation of discrimination very seriously” and that they plan to fight the lawsuit.
They reached a private settlement in 2022.
When the issue was posed to Haddish by GQ, she responded, “My business runs differently than her business. I’m not living her life. I don’t have that husband of hers.’
This deeply angered Mo’Nique and she eventually fired back at Haddish during her conversation with Sharpe – even going so far as to bring up Haddish’s recent legal troubles.
“When I saw that, I was like Tiffany, if you had a man like mine, maybe you wouldn’t have two DUIs,” Mo’Nique said.
Haddish, 44, was arrested early in the morning of November 24, 2023 in Beverly Hills, California on drunken driving charges when officers found her asleep in her car with the engine running, which was parked on busy Beverly Drive at the time.
As for her feud with Haddish, Mo’Nique cited a 2018 interview with GQ in which the comedian took a swipe at her husband/manager Sidney Hicks.

“When I saw that, I looked like Tiffany. If you had a man like mine, you might not have been under the influence twice,” said Mo’Nique; Tiffany was seen smiling in her mugshot after her first DUI arrest in January 2022
She was previously taken into custody in Peachtree City, Georgia, on January 14, 2022, after officers found her asleep behind the wheel of her car.
For her most recent offense, Haddish accepted a plea deal for reckless driving and had her two drunk driving charges dropped after appearing in court in Los Angeles in December.
She ultimately accepted a conviction for reckless driving and pleaded no contest to the traffic violation.
