The budding model has certainly made a name for herself in the industry and now has an impressive 969,000 followers on Instagram.

She is also ready to follow in her parent’s footsteps in the acting world as she has been signed on for a role in the Netflix Italian Original series The Leopard.

Filming only began last month, with production on the lavish period piece set to take place in the Sicilian cities of Palermo, Syracuse and Catania, as well as the Italian capital, over the coming months.

With elements similar to Downton Abbey and The Crown, the historical series is a modern take on the Sicilian saga, famously made into a film by Luchino Visconti starring Claudia Cardinale, Alain Delon and Burt Lancaster.

The film, now an Italian cinema classic, won the 1963 Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival.

Deva will star as Angelica Sedara, the young, beautiful, middle-class woman who becomes a catalyst of social disruption in the six-part epic set against the backdrop of social revolution in 1860s Sicily.

The role was originally played by Claudia Cardinale.

It marks a big break for Deva, who recently made her acting debut in Laura Lucetti’s upcoming The Beautiful Summer.

Deva’s appearance comes after her father, French actor Vincent, is rumored to have divorced after five years with his model wife Tina Kunakey, 26.

A source told DailyMail.com exclusively that the couple are on the verge of divorcing, saying, “They broke up weeks ago. Tina is heartbroken.”

While representatives for Vincent and Tina did not respond to requests for comment, the actor’s social media accounts speak volumes about the pair’s relationship — with the on-screen star deleting all traces of his wife from his Instagram account.

Beloved photos of the duo, which were previously on Vincent’s account, have all disappeared without a trace.
