The couple first met 16 years ago, but reportedly only started dating after meeting in October 2022 at the Lumière Film Festival in Lyon.
Monica confirmed their relationship in June of the following year, when she told Elle France: ‘What I can say… I’m glad I met the man, first of all.’
‘It’s one of those encounters that you rarely have in life… I know the man, I love him, and now I’m going to meet the director, a new adventure begins.’
She added: ‘I love Tim. And I have great respect for Tim Burton.’

Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice Beetlejuice will open the festival on August 28.
Jenna recently shared what it was like meeting Winona Ryder for the first time on the set of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.
The 21-year-old Wednesday star plays Astrid Deetz, the daughter of Ryder’s 52-year-old Lydia Deetz, in the film.
“She was so warm and welcoming and kind and inviting from the very beginning, and I couldn’t be more grateful to her,” Ortega explained in an interview with the The New York Times.
“It was at a time when my career was taking a different turn and I didn’t realize I needed that from someone who could relate to me, but I did,” she said, adding that she was in a “transformative” time in her life after her overnight superstardom in the Netflix series Wednesday.
“The way Winona and I interacted was kind of weird. It was like we were kind of reading each other’s minds,” she added.
Sigourney will receive the prestigious Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement Award during the festival.
Before accepting the award, Sigourney said: ‘I feel very honoured to receive the Golden Lion for my oeuvre from La Biennale di Venezia.’
