This is the dramatic moment when Ukrainian special forces infiltrated an enemy trench and shot dead an enemy soldier as he emerged from a corner.
Bodycam footage of a soldier shows how the Russian troops barely had time to react before they were ‘turned off’.
Video shows the special forces using explosives and tactically waiting at a crossroads in the trench system for enemy soldiers to pass so they could shoot them.
The footage was obtained earlier on Monday from the Special Operations Forces (SSO) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In a statement, the SSO said: ‘Warriors of Ukraine infiltrated the enemy’s trenches from behind in a southerly direction and knocked out 10 occupiers.
“In the south, Special Operations Naval Center operators managed to sneak behind enemy lines while conducting their mission. The battle group of SSO warriors surprised the enemy.
Some of the enemy soldiers, recovering from the unexpected attack, tried to resist. But as shown in the video shot by one of our warriors, their efforts were in vain.”

Also, the Ukrainian army reportedly captured more than 80 Russian fighters last week.
The Russian army has launched 59 airstrikes and more than 100 rocket attacks against Ukrainian military positions and residential areas in the past 24 hours.
This is according to the spokesman of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Andrii Kovalev, who revealed that more than 20 residential buildings and a school had been destroyed or damaged.

The UN is in talks with the Ukrainian and Russian governments about the effective delivery of humanitarian aid to those affected by the destruction of the Kakhovka dam.
According to the head of the UN in Ukraine, Denise Brown, the Russian government has repeatedly rejected the organization’s request to gain access to areas of Ukraine under Russian control.
The UN has said: ‘We urge the Russian authorities to act in accordance with their obligations under international humanitarian law.
Help cannot be denied to those in need. The UN will continue to do all it can to reach all people – including those suffering as a result of the dam’s recent destruction – in urgent need of life-saving assistance, wherever they are.”
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Sunday that “Russia will lose the occupied territories. There is and will be no alternative to our steps of dismay.”
He added, “I am grateful to everyone who is now in combat, in positions and on combat posts! I thank everyone who helps!’
