Passengers aboard a Delta flight captured on camera the moment a United Airlines plane collided with their plane on the runway at Boston’s Logan Airport, forcing all passengers to disembark and rebook their tickets.

The two vehicles collided Friday afternoon as the parked Delta plane waited to take off to Detroit.

A video posted online shows the United plane slowly backing into the Delta plane, with an airline spokesperson confirming this WCVB his little wing grazed the tail of the other plane.

“Customers on the United plane normally disembarked at the gate and we will rebook them on other flights,” the United spokesman said, noting that there were 128 passengers on the flight to Newark, New Jersey.

Passengers on board the Delta flight were also rebooked on another flight that arrived an hour later, and the airline apologized for the inconvenience by ordering pizzas for the customers, one passenger wrote online.

A United Airlines flight scraped the wing of a Delta jet en route to Detroit Friday afternoon at Boston’s Logan Airport.

Another passenger, Daniel Frederickson, pulled out his cell phone when he saw the United flight approaching.

“We were driving on the tarmac and I saw another plane standing still, and it hit the other plane,” the boy who was traveling to Brazil with his family told the local news station.

“I knew it was going to happen, so I videotaped it.”

In that footage, Daniel could be heard saying, “It won’t work, it won’t work, it won’t work,” as the United flight slowly reverses into the Delta plane’s wing.

“Oh, it did,” says another child as the two planes collide.

Daniel said he “felt the planes crash into each other” and said the experience was “a little scary.”

Emergency services rushed to the crime scene after the crash, with other images of fire crews on the tarmac.

Fortunately, there were no injuries and the United Airlines plane was slowly towed back to the airport after about half an hour, according to a video posted to Twitter by passenger Alex Wilson.

He said the passengers had all been rebooked on another flight departing just an hour later, and posted a photo of Delta crew members serving pizza to passengers in an attempt to apologize for the inconvenience.

Wilson said passengers were “in good spirits” despite the crash and tweeted, “Kudos to Delta for the professionalism and prompt rebooking.”

DailyMail.com has contacted Delta for more information regarding the number of passengers on board that flight and the extent of the damage.

The collision at Logan came just a few months after two United planes collided at the airport.

In that case, an aircraft was pushed backwards out of its bay and the right wing collided with the horizontal stabilizer at the rear of an adjacent aircraft.

“As the wing of a United aircraft pushed back from the gate at Boston Logan earlier today, it made contact with the wing of another United aircraft parked at the neighboring gate,” United Airlines said in a statement.

In that case, all passengers were also rebooked to other flights.
