Moment United Airlines Employee Yells at Muslim Traveler for Delayed Flight
Shocking footage has emerged of an airline employee berating a Muslim traveler for delaying a flight despite trying to explain he was being forced to strip naked by security at an Israeli airport.
The man was attempting to fly United’s UA91 from Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv to Newark, New Jersey, when he claimed he had been selected for additional security screening.
A video posted on TikTok shows the man being escorted to the gate of his plane by a woman. It is not clear who the woman works for.
At the beginning of the clip, the pair seem to clash over the woman’s way of speaking to him.
The airline employee seemed agitated as she walked the man to his gate
In a heated argument, the woman tells him that 300 passengers are waiting for him
His attempts to tell her that he was delayed by security went unheard
“Have some respect,” he says, before she yells back at him, “I’m speaking to you.”
“How dare you talk to me like that,” he tells her.
The video shows the couple walking through the duty-free zone together, locked in a heated argument about him, causing a delay.
“Three hundred people are waiting for you. Please stop talking and get on the plane,” she says.
“Tell Israel that, why did they detain me?” he asks. “It’s not my fault,” he says.
The woman continues to speak to him in an agitated tone, prompting him to ask, “Ma’am, why are you talking to me like that,” he asks.
He seems a little relieved to walk onto the plane
When he finally sits down, he is overwhelmed and begins to collapse
‘Which way? I asked you to board because there are 300 passengers waiting for you.
“Do you know they stripped me?” he says.
“I’m not, I’m not security,” she says.
Eventually the man is handed over to another employee who checks his ticket and he makes his way across the airlift and onto the plane.
As he walks on, all the other passengers are already in their seats.
“Guys, I’m sorry, it’s not my fault. They kept me safe, my apologies, they kept me safe. They let me get naked. I’m sorry, but it wasn’t my fault.
“Just because I’m Muslim, that’s the truth.”
After taking his seat, he bursts into tears.
Another person is heard to say to him, “I’m sorry you had a hard time in security.”
The video has been viewed more than 2.4 million times and received more than 8,000 comments, many of which reflected her sentiment.
