Moment Ukrainian drone is sent to kill Russian soldier in aerial grenade run – before later returning to SAVE his life
This is when a Ukrainian drone, which was supposed to kill a Russian soldier with a grenade, returned to save the wounded soldier’s life.
The 18-minute video was posted on social media channels by the K-2 Battalion, a group within the 54th Brigade of the Ukrainian Army.
The drone footage shows a grenade being placed on the battlefield in a menacing tone, although the exact location and date are not entirely clear.
As plumes of smoke rose into the air, the soldier survived two attempts on his life with the deadly weapons in an area believed to be in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine.
The drone controller drops a total of five deadly grenades on the enemy army member, who narrowly escapes death in each bombing attack.

The images that IIt is believed that this is part of an attempt to encourage potential recruits to join the K-2 Battalion, as the Ukrainian appears to feel sorry for the bleeding soldier.
The group, like the entire Ukrainian military, is feeling the pressure to take on more recruits.
The deflated Russian man crawls to his feet, but the drone controller tries to signal that he is going the wrong way.
The man is injured and has no energy left. He desperately signals the drone that he needs water. The drone then flies back to base to get water.
However, upon the drone’s return, when he realized he had survived, the controller gave water and instructions to the injured man
He then led the Russians with the drone to the Ukrainian lines, through the deadly battlefield
Clouds of smoke rose into the sky as airstrikes – which the video claimed were from the opposition – hit the pitch
The dehydrated and bleeding man attaches a note with instructions on how to reach Ukrainian lines and folds his hands together to thank the Ukrainian air traffic controller.
Exhausted and battered, the Russian finds a syringe of painkillers in his pocket. He injects it into his left arm before trying to muster the strength to move.
As he enters the sun-drenched battlefield of No Man’s Land, the soldier immediately falls over with an injured leg, but slowly gets back up in an attempt to pull himself to safety.
The Ukrainian drone continues to follow him as clouds of smoke from recent fighting rise from the fields.
During the ride, the Russian indicated that he wanted to take a smoke break before continuing. He lay in a crater for a few minutes.

After emerging and crossing No Man’s Land, he was greeted by Ukrainian soldiers who took him to their command post
As the sun began to set over the battlefield, we watched as more airstrikes took place while the drone continued to guide him.

Eventually, the Russian soldier reaches enemy lines and is met by two Ukrainian infantrymen.
As they approach the wounded man sternly, the soldiers appear to pull him away before leading him to their command post.
