Moment TikToker throws herself to the floor screaming ‘I’m dying’ in busy London hospital so she can film ‘how to get seen in UK A&E’ stunt for her channel

This is the moment a TikToker pretended to collapse in an ‘understaffed’ A&E department while shouting ‘I’m dying’ in an ‘unfunny’ joke.

Londoner Farah Shams, 23, performed the stunt for her more than half a million followers on social media.

In the video, titled ‘How to be seen in UK A&E’, which was recorded by a friend, Ms Shams stands up and starts growling loudly, shouting ‘oh my god, I’m dying’.

She then walks into the middle of what is claimed to be a crowded NHS waiting area and shouts ‘help’ as she lies flat on the floor for a few seconds before standing up and groaning ‘why isn’t anyone helping me?’

One medic at the unknown location stops to look at the TikToker and a man who appears to be a security guard asks ‘what happened?’.

She confronts him and says, “I’m dying, we’re all dying” until the guard asks her to sit down and one of the stunned patients shouts, “her friend is videotaping this.”

The clip has been viewed more than 4 million times on TikTok, but the comments section is full of users dissing the controversial TikToker.

One person said: ‘What a display of stupidity, you think they are ignoring you? They have too little money and too few staff, show some respect.’

Another said: ‘Hospital staff have enough to deal with.’

Another person said: ‘This is a really selfish thing to do. People sit there for hours…feeling terrible and you’re not making it any better.”

While another said: ‘I don’t find this funny, there are sick/injured people who all have to wait a very long time to be seen, peace and quiet during those hours is.’

Another said: ‘She missed the point with this video. Her others are borderline funny, but this is just disrespectful.”

Someone else replied: ‘Really not funny. Just stupid and annoying. Other people need it more than you do. You’re a disgrace.’

“Pretty sad what social media is doing to some people,” another commenter added.

And another said: ‘She’s a bitch. Showing off while sick people are sitting there.’

However, when one user said: ‘Really not funny. Everyone has to wait,” one person replied: “The question is why people have to wait in the first place. That was her point!’

Ms Shams claims she decided to pull off the dramatic stunt on October 27 because she had waited seven hours to be seen and then another three hours – only to find out she was being fired without being told.

She has deflected criticism by calling angry users “keyboard warriors” and bizarrely assuming that “what I did is what everyone thinks they’re doing in their imagination.”

She hit back at those who trolled her online, explaining: ‘Seven hour wait? And being fired without being told… and then waiting another three hours when no one was going to tell me I was fired?’

But one commenter hit back, saying: ‘Because if there are 120 patients and let’s say 10 doctors, how is it possible NOT to wait? I can’t hang out with you guys.’

One even said: ‘This is how I felt when I spent four hours in the emergency room with a broken foot.’

Ms Shams responded: “They are actually violating. What I did is what everyone imagines doing.”

One fan said: ‘This was funny. Why are you guys so angry?’

The TikToker added, “Legit everyone is so busy but half the people are keyboard warriors. If they had been there, they would have stayed quiet.”

In another video, she films herself stuffing a packet of salmon, a tub of butter and a box of cereal into her jacket in a supermarket, before blaming the cost of living crisis in the caption.
