Shocking moment an Amazon driver is forced to sprint for his life as a stray dog chases him – but despite his screams, the owner insists the dog is just ‘friendly’.
Although the man let out a series of high-pitched cries as he was chased by Nala at an astronomical speed, her owner protested that she was only being “friendly.”
The unsuspecting delivery man went about his normal day until he received a hair-raising surprise upon arriving at a front door in Manchester, Connecticut, USA.
Footage captured by the homeowner’s doorbell camera shows the worker carefully placing the package on the ground just seconds before a dog darts in his direction at terrifying speed.
Taking no chances, the petrified man sprints and screams at the top of his lungs out of sheer fear, leaving his open and unattended van far behind in the dust.

By the time the shocked Amazon worker made it across the street and out of view of the camera, the homeowner opened her door to recall the pet.
She shouted at the animal to return to the grounds and repeated, ‘Come here, Nala! Come!’
As Nala casually walks back to her front yard, the woman yells at the terrified Amazon driver that the animal did no harm, noting that she was “just being friendly.”
After Nala sends the worker screaming through the cold snow into the street, she eventually returns to her warm home, wagging her tail.
The incident comes shortly after another Amazon driver tried to steal the woman’s puppy from her yard by smuggling the pet into his van.
Terrika Currence of Henry County captured the wild incident involving a delivery person and her dog.
The Amazon driver was dropping off a package at Currence’s home when the dognapping attempt occurred.
“As I open the door to put the package and dog food in the house, my daughter screams and says, ‘The Amazon man stole our puppy,’” Currence recalls.
Currence owns her own skin care company called Beyond Skin Deep, and says she immediately dropped the skin care products and rushed out to save the dog.
In a video of the confrontation, which has since gone viral, Currence swings open the back door of the Amazon truck and yells at the driver.

“As soon as I opened the truck, he has the puppy in a container. I had to grab the puppy and get him out of the truck,” she told WSB-TV Atlanta.
Although the unnamed Amazon driver has not yet been charged, Currence is certain he was about to leave with her dog.
“He was ready to run off with our dog,” she said, adding that he did not apologize or provide any explanation.
Currence called police, who are reportedly investigating. She has also filed a complaint with Amazon.
An Amazon spokesperson confirmed to local news that the driver had been fired.
‘We have apologized to the customer and are pleased that the dog has returned unharmed. The driver involved is no longer delivering for Amazon and we have contacted law enforcement to assist in the investigation,” Amazon’s statement said.
