Moment Melania Trump is asked very awkward question about a ‘bombshell’ in her marriage ahead of 2024 election
Melania Trump pulled back the curtains on Trump Word today and revealed the impact of her shocking pro-abortion stance on husband Donald.
The former First Lady gave a behind-the-scenes look as she made a rare live televised appearance on Fox & Friends with exactly one week until Election Day.
She laid bare the details of her decision to publicly announce her impressive stance on abortion, which she recently revealed in her memoir “Melania.”
The book was published on October 8 and contained a passionate defense of abortion rights.
It was the first time that Melania was out of step with the party her husband leads on a political issue.
A member of Fox’s live studio audience asked her how she dropped the “little pro-choice bomb on the president in the middle of his career struggle” — and how he responded.
In response to the potentially awkward question, Melania revealed, “My husband knew my position and my beliefs since the day we met.”

‘It wasn’t a big surprise to him. “I don’t think other people, the world, knew what my position was.
She added: ‘He wasn’t surprised, he knew about it.’
The former First Lady and model rarely expresses her own political views, but she made her appearance after abortion became a central issue in the 2024 race.
After former President Trump appointed three Supreme Court justices during his first term, the resulting six to three conservative majority overturned Roe v. Wade in June 2022.
That stripped away federal protections for abortion rights and sent the issue back to the individual states that had the ultimate decision-making power.
Donald Trump argues that it should be up to individual states to decide how to handle abortion, and that it should not be a matter for the federal government.
The former First Lady urged viewers and Fox’s studio audience to read her book if they wanted to learn more about her views on abortion and women’s rights.

Melania shocked MAGA fans by making surprising comments on stage at her husband Donald Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally on Sunday, October 27
In her book, Melania wrote: ‘It is imperative to ensure that women have autonomy in deciding their preference for childbearing, based on their own beliefs, free from any government intervention or pressure.’
She continues: ‘Why should anyone other than the woman herself have the power to determine what she does with her own body? A woman’s fundamental right to individual freedom over her own life gives her the power to terminate her pregnancy if she so chooses.”
Melania adds that “restricting a woman’s right to choose whether to terminate an unwanted pregnancy is like denying her control over her own body. I have carried this belief with me throughout my adult life.’

In his own recent appearance on the same show, Donald Trump dismissed polls showing he is doing poorly with female voters.
Trump was asked about polls showing him losing to Kamala Harris by double digits among female voters.
He called the polls “nonsense” and declared that “women love me” except for one thing.
Trump said, “Without abortion, the women love me.”

Harris has made the issue a central part of her campaign.
The former president said the issue has torn the country apart for more than 50 years, and no one wanted the issue to be resolved by the federal government.
He said, “I’ve taken this issue out of the federal government and back to the states where they vote.”
Trump has stated that he personally believes in exceptions to abortion for rape, incest and the life of the mother.
