A Tennessee father was shocked to discover that a rattlesnake had crawled into his baby’s stroller and killed the venomous reptile with a shovel.
Autumn Maidlow shared a video of her shocked husband Tyler, who had just found a rattlesnake nestled in their baby’s stroller.
The father had taken their 9-month-old daughter Ava Grace for a walk in the stroller shortly before his gruesome discovery.
Maidlow explained how the snake was curled up on the edge of the stroller before the creature struck him as he walked past the stroller.
The video showed the snake twisting itself disturbingly around the baby’s blanket in the pram as the Maidlow couple watched in horror.

Tyler Maidlow had taken his 9-month-old daughter with him in her stroller shortly before he found the venomous creature cuddled in the baby’s stroller.
Tyler dealt with their unexpected visitor by killing the rattlesnake with a shovel.
Maidlow had left the garage door open while he was walking the baby and that’s when the snake slithered onto their property.
His wife told FOX 17 News, “My husband went for a walk with our baby in the car and left the garage open.”
After returning from the walk, he went back to their garage to get something from the car when he was confronted by the poisonous snake.
Maidlow said: ‘He was walking past the car, and as he walked back in he saw the snake on the edge of the car, and right as he looked at it he punched him, and he jumped back and hit my car. ‘
The couple was shocked and scared of the snake after the incident, but they were grateful to have found it before putting their daughter in the stroller for their next outing.
