Dustin Langham, 18, brutally beat a fellow inmate during a court hearing in Las Vegas, leaving the judge visibly unimpressed by the attack
Langham, who had just pleaded guilty last year to biting the hand of a corrections officer, was seen initiating an aggressive attack last Thursday in Clark County District Court Judge Bita Yeager’s courtroom.
As corrections staff intervened, separated the two inmates and handcuffed Langham, Judge Yeager slowly raised her head and arms, displaying a controlled response to the violent episode.
The 18-year-old felon had a history of assault incidents prior to the battery in the courtroom that was caught on camera.
Clark County District Court Judge Joe Hardy sentenced Langham to probation in September 2023 for several injuries sustained by an inmate, records show.
At the time, he bit a corrections officer at the Clark County Detention Center and threw a rock at another. He had pleaded guilty to the charges.
Langham was also charged with and later pleaded guilty to battery causing substantial bodily harm in 2022, according to court documents reviewed by the mail.
Bridge pleaded guilty to one count of attempted possession or possession of a firearm by a prohibited person. He was sentenced to one to four years in prison.
According to 8newsnow, Langham did not face any new charges as a result of the February 1 courtroom attack.

Glenn Cromwell Jr. was arrested and charged with battery after carrying out an attack on 59-year-old Yousuf Azami, who was accused of kidnapping and sexually abusing a teenager in the same building
Last week’s chaos was just one of the latest cases of violence at the Regional Justice Center in recent months.
Glenn Cromwell Jr. was arrested and charged with battery after attacking 59-year-old Yousuf Azami, who was accused of kidnapping and sexually abusing a teenager in the same building.
Video of the Jan. 23 incident shows Azami standing and walking down the courtroom hallway before Cromwell stands and follows.
Cromwell, wearing a gray tracksuit, stops briefly next to the suspect before punching Azami in the face.
He then repeatedly punches the suspect who has fallen to the ground before others, including a police officer, rush to break it up.
The couple was subsequently separated and Cromwell was arrested and charged with battery.
Azami, an actor born in Afghanistan, is accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl who told police she got into his car before he drove her to his home and raped her.
The young girl, who was 14 or 15 years old at the time of the alleged attack, told police she was looking for “something to smoke and eat” when she saw Azami in the parking lot of a marijuana dispensary.

Weeks before the two violent attacks, Deobra attacked Redden, 30 Clark County District Judge Mary Kay Holthus in the same court on Jan. 3.
He said ‘nah fuck that bitch” as he threw himself at her after she rejected his pleas for more probation. He also attacked the court marshal, who required 25 stitches as a result.
Redden later appeared in court to resume sentencing, wearing handcuffs, a spit mask on his face and orange mittens on his hands, where he was sentenced to 19 to 48 months for a misdemeanor battery charge.
He was subsequently charged with attempted murder for launching himself at Holthus. The charge was increased due to the age of the victim, as Holthus is over 60 years old.
