The father of Spain’s Euro 2024 star player, Lamine Yamal, was spotted ‘arguing with the neighbours’ in a car park just hours before he was stabbed.
The dispute between Yamal’s father and his neighbours is said to have arisen after they “threw water at him from a balcony”.
Mounir Nasraoui was reportedly attacked a few hours later last night in a parking lot in Matora, Spain.
After the attack, he was rushed to Can Ruti Hospital in Badalona, where his condition was reportedly ‘serious’.
Spanish points of sale Relevance And Sports world have since reported that Nasraoui is in hospital, but that he is ‘out of danger’.
Footage has emerged showing the footballer’s father getting into an argument with locals at around 3.45pm on Wednesday before being taken away by police, after which the brutal attack ensued.

The row between Yamal’s father and locals is said to have started after they “threw water at him from a balcony just hours before he was stabbed”.
Earlier footage also showed Nasraoui (the yellow Barcelona shirt) being led away by a member of the community before police arrived
Before police arrived to lead him away, another video showed Nasraoui being led away by a man after what appeared to be an argument.
According to The VanguardiaAccording to local residents, Nasraoui got into an argument with several people while he was walking his dog.
They say the disagreement eventually led to a fight in which Nasraoui was stabbed several times.
Three people have been arrested by Spanish police and charged with attempted murder, The World defeated.
The investigation into the incident, which took place around 9:10 p.m. local time, is still ongoing.
Witnesses who witnessed the stabbing have reportedly been contacted by local police, as authorities work to gather crucial information about the attack.
Video footage has emerged of an earlier confrontation between Nasraoui and other community members, before Yamal’s father was taken away by police.
Nasraoui has been his son’s biggest supporter for years and was there when the 17-year-old Yamal won the European Championship title with Spain, where they beat England in the final.
Yamal was Spain’s star player at the tournament, with his father previously stating that the rising superstar could be “bigger than [Lionel] ‘Messi.’

Nasraoui lives in the Rocafonda neighborhood of Mataro, where Yamal grew up. He still honors the neighborhood with his “304” celebration, which refers to the neighborhood’s postcode.
The 35-year-old father is originally from Morocco but moved to Spain at the age of nine, where he later met Yamal’s mother Sheila Ebana. The couple had their son, a football prodigy, in 2007.
He dreamed of becoming a professional footballer in Spain, but he couldn’t make it, so he started working and had various jobs to make ends meet.
Nasraoui, who is two years younger than Yamal’s Spain team-mate Jesus Navas, followed his son through Germany as Spain pushed for the 2024 European Championship.
