Two easyJet passengers who had sex in an airplane toilet during a flight to Ibiza emerged to applause and ‘top girl’ cheers as they shamelessly walked back to their seats.

In an earlier clip, passengers were seen screeching and shouting with joy as a cabin crew member opened the door to reveal the duo having sex.

Footage taken during the flight from Luton shows the pair were in no mood to stop early, with the man promptly closing the door again so they could join the so-called ‘Mile High Club’.

In a second clip, the pair are seen waving their arms provocatively without a trace of blush as they walk down the plane’s aisle to their seats, as excited passengers cheer them on.

The plane was met by police when it landed in Ibiza and the duo were escorted away.

An EasyJet spokesperson told MailOnline that the flight was met by police upon arrival on the Spanish party island.

Those in the backseat watching the situation unfold seemed to find what happened hilarious and could be seen with their mouths open. A woman was heard shouting “Oh my f***ing God” before asking her friend if she had videotaped what had happened.

But the cabin crew member appeared unsure how to react and was seen in the clip holding his head in his hands after catching the couple in the act.

The video has been widely shared on social media, with one user joking: ‘Ryanair would charge extra.’ Another said: ‘I hope that wasn’t the pilot.’

The identity of the couple is not known and it has not been confirmed whether any arrests have been made in Ibiza.

Bedfordshire Police, which is responsible for policing Luton Airport, confirmed to MailOnline that it was not involved in the response.

Section 71 of the Sexual Offenses Act 2004 states that it is illegal to have sex in a toilet to which the public has access.
