This is the moment a music fan was dragged out of Wembley Stadium during Bruce Springsteen’s concert on Thursday night “for simply standing there”.

Evan Tate was one of the tens of thousands in attendance who saw the 74-year-old Springsteen travel back in time in a show that lasted more than three hours.

However, Mr Tate, a budding guitarist himself in his band ‘Bandit’, was unable to hold on when venue security dragged him from the stands.

Footage taken by an audience member midway through the show shows Mr Tate asking why he was ejected, then zooming in on several seated patrons being abused by fellow concertgoers.

This is the moment music fan Evan Tate was dragged out of Wembley Stadium last night during Bruce Springsteen concert ‘for just standing there’

Mr. Tate was one of tens of thousands in attendance who saw a 74-year-old Springsteen turn back time in a set that lasted more than three hours, but he couldn’t keep up the pace when venue security dragged him from the stands and left him alone to ask why.

Springsteen (seen) was, as always, accompanied by “the breathtaking, pants-slapping, hard-rocking, booty-shaking, love-making, earth-shaking, Viagra-popping, death-defying, legendary E Street Band” in what was judged to be a first-rate performance

Mr Tate posted the clip on X and said: ‘I don’t know what to say exactly. I was brutally dragged out of the Bruce Springsteen @wembleystadium tour [sic] ‘because they just stood up, while the images here show many people doing the same.’

Along with the clip, he also shared details from the video, revealing that it was recorded at 8:43 p.m., about an hour and a half into the concert. That means the musician likely missed classic hits like Thunder Road, Born To Run, and Dancing In The Dark.

You hear him ask security ‘what is this for?’ as they grab him and pull him away

And Mr Tate also shared a photo of one of his arms appearing to be bruised, clearly showing the “brutal” nature of his deportation.

Other attendees could then be heard attacking the seated Springsteen fans, who were sitting behind the section from which the people had been removed.

They were surrounded by numerous standing spectators.

Someone can be heard calling one of the audience members “aw*****” and adding, “There was no need for that.”

Both Mr Tate and Wembley Stadium have been approached for comment.

Springsteen was joined that night, as always, by “the heart-pounding, pants-slapping, hard-rocking, booty-shaking, love-making, earth-shaking, Viagra-using, death-defying, legendary E Street Band” in what was deemed a top-notch performance.
