Mom who took toddler on plane with high fever faces fresh backlash over ‘inappropriate’ clothing decision

A controversial content creator has viewers up in arms again after revealing she took her toddler on a two-hour walk in the freezing cold.

Mother Alina was previously criticized for putting her one-year-old son on the plane with a high fever.

She is now facing fresh backlash after posting a video on TikTok explaining how she prepared the youngster to venture out in the -18.4 degree Celsius weather.

Alina, who lives in Kazakhstan, posted a montage of clips of her dressing her son, explaining that they “try to walk every day, regardless of the weather.”

But the video received huge criticism as many of her viewers felt that she had not dressed him in proper clothing that would protect him from the harsh elements.

“Since it’s quite chilly today, I’ll put him in a wool jumpsuit and a fleece jumpsuit on top,” Alina explained in the video.

She added that she usually puts “two pairs of socks” on him, but “forgot this time.”

The mother said she had a special winter coat for her son to wear when the “hard frost” came, but because it had not yet dropped below -22 degrees, she had not taken it off.

Instead, she dressed him in a gray coat and completed his ensemble with boots “lined with sheepskin” and a hat.

“We try to walk every day regardless of the weather because we live in a cold country,” she said.

But Alina’s video was full of comments from concerned viewers, wondering why she took her young child out into the freezing cold and whether his clothes would keep him warm enough.

‘-28 [degrees Celsius] and no winter overalls? No woolen socks? Only little mittens going on?’ asked one shocked user.

‘In Finland it is -28 [degrees Celsius] For my children, I have added a thicker wool suit, wool socks, winter overalls, thin backlava and 100 percent wool on top.”

“That poor child,” agreed another.

‘Why would you torture him like that? Keep him warm in the house,” someone else raged.

“Is that safe when it comes to frostbite?” read a fourth comment.

“Good job Mom… if he has to wear those clothes, no matter how long it takes, no matter how much he worries… make sure he wears it for his own good. But explain it to him when you’re outside and he’ll understand,” another viewer advised.

Earlier this year, Alina had viewers furious after posting a video of her and her husband flying to Thailand with their sick child.

In the clip, she said her son had developed a 104 degree F fever before the trip, but they didn’t want to cancel the flight because they would have lost thousands of dollars.

“My husband and I wanted to cancel the flight, then our tickets would have been wasted and the…$3,000 would have been wasted,” Alina captioned the video.

She added that they had managed to get the baby’s temperature down before the flight, but admitted they were “concerned” about how their child would feel during the eight-hour flight.

“A plus point of this flight was that it took place at night and the child was able to sleep and recover,” she added.

Despite the mother-of-one’s best plans, things didn’t go smoothly: The sick toddler woke up and cried for almost the entire flight.

“We had to bring the temperature down again last night… we were very worried,” she admitted.

Commentators condemned the parents for their choice, claiming it would endanger their child, as well as everyone else on the flight.
