Mom reveals how she homeschools her kids for just two hours a day – but is teaching them how to TRADE so they never have to work

A mother who spends just two hours a day homeschooling her daughters is determined to teach them how to trade, claiming she is preparing them for a life of financial success.

Amanda Custer from California started learning the tricks of the trade four years ago, hoping to earn some extra money.

The savvy mother, who now teaches people how to trade through her company Forex For Women, wants her young daughters to learn financial skills so they can enter the markets at 18.

“Homeschooling takes them less than two hours a day,” Amanda explained to Absolutely businesslike.

The mother, who has Adalyn (12), Lucille (10) and Anniston (9) with her husband, says she is focusing on “freedom” in school and hopes to prepare her children for life with the right financial skills.

Controversially, Amanda also lets her kids set their own schedule after waking up around 8 a.m.

Amanda is controversial, but she also lets her children set their own schedule.

She explains that she wakes up at 6am and her children wake up two hours later, around 8am.

“My husband and I are both entrepreneurs, so we have complete control over our own schedules,” she explains.

During the week, the girls have extracurricular activities such as dance, sports, art and enrichment classes. Outside of those activities, her daughters have full control over when they finish their lessons.

‘I give [the girls] “The freedom to complete their schoolwork whenever they want, as long as it’s done by the end of the day,” she explained.

“The rest of the day they are completely free to choose their activities, such as cycling outside, days at the beach and much more,” the mother added.

The emphasis on freedom and a flexible schedule so they can enjoy life to the fullest was further reinforced when they lost their fourth daughter, Carsen, in 2015.

Carsen suffered from severe disabilities and died at the age of five.

After losing Carsen, Amanda and her husband decided to homeschool their children so they could spend more time with them.

“We learned how short life is and that the freedom to be together was the greatest goal and dream for our family and our children’s future,” she recalls.

“You never know what tomorrow will bring. Why waste your time on something you don’t like and get paid for?”

Amanda says she now only talks to her phone “15 minutes a day” after developing a system that keeps her contact with her phone as short as possible so she can be a fully present mother.

“It took me three years to develop my system and this is now the same system I teach to thousands of other women around the world who long for simplicity and freedom,” she said.

Amanda has taught her children how to read charts so they understand what is happening and how she takes chances. However, she assures people that they should not start trading live until they are 18.

“They understand exactly how to understand the market and how to take successful positions through a demo broker account,” said one enthusiastic woman.

“Most people think trading is hard, but if you really look at what’s happening in the market right now, it’s actually quite easy to see the market going up or down,” she explained.

“I teach them that our goal is not to predict what’s going to happen next in the market. It’s to take advantage of what’s happening right now,” she said.

“I teach my daughters the same way I teach the women in Forex For Women: keep it simple,” she added.

The loving parents believe that homeschooling will teach their children independence and “awaken their thirst for life and freedom.”

“I always tell my children that their only job in life is to be happy,” she said.

“Whether that means they go to university and find a career, or they become a day trader or an entrepreneur, the choice is theirs and I will support them in that,” she added.

The mother says she sees her trading skills as a legacy she can teach her children and pass on to future generations.

“My children and their children will always have the knowledge of this skill so that they can make their money work for them, so that they can ‘work’ for fun, instead of ‘working’ for a paycheck,” she said.
