A mother of three who spent a whopping $20,000 stocking a room with food that will last for 25 years has revealed she is preparing for doomsday to protect her children if civil war breaks out in America.
Krystal, who did not want to give her full name, became a social media phenomenon after revealing that she had been preparing for 33 years despite fears of an emergency.
While I was talking to RealThe mother, who takes her children and husband as helping hands in her preparation room, said she was prepared for any kind of disaster, including the elections.
She said she had stocked up on medical supplies, food, tech products and more in case “another pandemic” or “World War III” breaks out.
The mother also hit out at haters who criticized her for preparing, claiming she always “hopes for the best” even though she’s prepared for the worst.

She explains: ‘When I first learned how to grow food, I did it with my grandfather. It’s a way to feel self-reliant, because you can grow what you want to eat.
‘Prepping is something that has been around for a while. part of my life since I was a very small child. My grandmother taught me how to can when I was three years old and I have continued to do it for the past 33 years.’
She then took viewers into her prep room, where she stores hundreds of cans of food with a shelf life of “25 years.”
Krystal said, “I’m preparing for Judgment Day and I’m preparing for anything, whether the power grid collapses and the power goes out, whether there’s another pandemic, civil war, civil war, World War III. We’re always preparing for the worst and always hoping for the best.”
In addition to food, Krystal also stores medications, inhalers, and tech products in the room.
She also said that the family had even purchased a device that allowed them to freeze and dry produce.
The family reported that they had enough food in their preparation room to last an entire year.
“I’ve spent about $20,000 on preparation over the last 10 years, but I’ve saved thousands of dollars by growing and canning my own food,” the mother said.

Krystal then showed viewers where the family keeps their weapons, as well as their backpacks, which are filled with the necessary gear they could grab and go at a moment’s notice.
The mother of three noticed that her children were not afraid to prepare because she talked to them about natural disasters and wanted them to be aware of them.
She admitted she often gets hate online, but ‘doesn’t read’ [her] comments.’
Krystal’s friend confessed that she thought she was “not crazy at all” when she first heard her friend was getting ready.
But after the pandemic, her friend joined her and she started preparing herself.
Krystal noted that there is a lot of “civil unrest” right now due to the upcoming election. She added that she wants to keep her family safe.
