A mother who dressed up as a cat to protest a transgender board member has criticized a gym for allowing them to use the women’s locker room, claiming they stared at her breasts.
Lindsey Graham, 41, was at Esporta in Goodyear, Arizona, a suburb west of Phoenix, when she claimed Paul Bixler walked into the women’s locker room while she was half-naked.
The 72-year-old is a retired teacher and principal who identifies as a transgender woman and wears “his dead wife’s clothes.”
Graham, a mother of three who calls herself ‘Patriot Barbie’ online, claims that Bixler stared at her breasts as she entered the women’s locker room, which was reported to police.
She told DailyMail.com that she would call the police “every time” Bixler used the women’s locker rooms and she thinks the police agree with her.

Graham filmed Bixler walking into the women’s locker room and yelling ‘why doesn’t anyone warn women? I hope there’s no one getting naked there.
Speaking to DailyMail.com, he said: ‘There was no communication between us at all. I didn’t speak to him; he didn’t talk to me.
“He had his back to me, but there was a mirror, so when he turned around after carrying his things, he could see me completely topless.”
‘The idea that he was there and I was undressing is enough to have violated my rights. When I called the police, they already seemed to know about him.
“I don’t think it’s the first time it’s happened. They knew what card he was playing, and he told them that he had a butt job, so he can wear that locker room.
“It’s frustrating because the police told him he could go and let him go back to the locker room.
‘What if there was a little girl changing there? Realistically, I’ll never undress in that locker room now.
‘It’s not fair for me to have to cancel my gym membership and put my life on hold to accommodate and cope with his mental disorder.
‘Every time I see him there I will call the police. I sensed that the police today morally did not agree with what they were obliged to comply with.

The mother-of-three previously dressed as a cat at a school board meeting to protest the schools’ “wake-up agenda.”
I think they knew in their hearts that I was right.
“The gym employees were happy to let him use the women’s locker room after having been using the men’s locker room for so long and now a sudden change.”

Lindsey added: ‘He is involved in an activity that is setting a precedent for others, now they have a get out of jail free card to force themselves into women’s spaces.
“They can rape women without cameras nearby and interfere with our security and that is what worries me the most.
‘This is alarming, women’s rights are being violated and I’m not going to put up with it. He will not suffer any consequences of this.
Bixler, in a July interview with AZCentral, said that although she had transitioned late in life, she received mostly positive reactions from locals.
The mother posted a video on her TikTok account where she said the police claimed it was a “sensitive and touchy subject in society,” adding that “we are at a point where we are serving society rather than the facts”.
He added that Bixler was not arrested before filming herself asking, “Paul, if you’re a woman, why do you use the men’s room sometimes and the women’s room sometimes?”
Bixler slowly turned around and responded, “Please stay away from me,” as a police officer tried to defuse the situation.
The pair have clashed before, with the mother donning a cat costume to a school reunion and mocking the school’s “wake up agenda.”
Retired teacher Bixler was appointed to the Liberty School Board, which covers eight schools on the outskirts of the Phoenix metropolitan area, in 2021.

Graham believes Bixler has a ‘mental illness’ which should prevent him from influencing children and accessing women’s locker rooms.
Graham, no relation to the South Carolina US senator of the same name, clearly addressed Bixler, without naming her, and the board at a school meeting in December.
She said: ‘I am a cat. Meow meow. I am not a woman dressed as a cat. I am a cat. How many of you believe and confess that I am a cat? How many of you think your child or a child in this school would believe that I am actually a cat?’
After no one raised their hand, she continued: ‘No one. You are well. Truth prevails over imagination. The reality exists. Discernment is innate and something we are programmed to have. One look at me, and you know this is true. I am a woman posing as a cat.
He added that Bixler is “very clearly a man” and “the only thing she does to identify as a woman is put on lipstick.” She let her hair grow out a bit and wears her late wife’s clothes to school.
Bixler made the transition after his wife of 36 years, Candace, died in 2017.
