“When I got there I settled in and got along, I didn’t have that one friend that I just got along with. I would take myself to the pool and try to sunbathe, take a breather. Think about the outside world. If I hadn’t, I would have lost it.

Host Amanda Nicole Hirsch asked, “Would the others ask why you don’t hang out with us more often?”

She replied, “Yes, but then they found out it was me.

The host then asked, “So you don’t mind that Jess, Ella, Catherine and Whitney are all best friends and have a group chat without you?” Don’t you feel left out?’

Molly replied, “No. I sort of expected that, I kind of expected that, it is what it is. It’s probably for the best I’m not here. No, I expected that.

“I didn’t open up to them as much as they wanted to, but at first I didn’t want to exaggerate my feelings, I kept them to myself to make sure I was okay. I didn’t want people talking about me.’

Amanda went on to ask how it felt when the other islanders weren’t supportive of Molly and Zach’s relationship.

The basketball player replied, “It really felt that way at first.”

Molly added, “I think people didn’t know where your head was at first until you opened up.

Zach hit back: “From day six you could easily see where my head was.”

Amanda then said, “Jess made comments and Jess was pretty nice to everyone, but she made snide comments to you. Why?’

Zach replied, “I can’t even answer that question. By the end everyone knew who we were and every comment that was made wasn’t made to my face, it wasn’t a conversation.

Elsewhere on the podcast, Molly claimed that producers ordered the stars to reshoot a key moment.

After Kady entered the villa in a shock return to the ITV2 show, she chose to team up with Zach, resulting in Molly being brutally dumped.

In another plot twist, Molly returned during Casa Amor and managed to rekindle her romance with Zach, resulting in an ongoing feud between the pair and Kady.

And a moment that added fuel to the fire was the Snog, Marry, Pie game.

Zach and Kady kissed during the challenge, with Molly now claiming he was told to do it.

On the podcast, she said, “No one has really seen this. Zach pecked her and winked at me, but he couldn’t, so he had to do it again.

“He was very respectful.”

Amanda replied, “Oh really? So a kiss must be a kiss?’

Zach said, “You have to kiss.” And Molly joked, “That means full. He was forced to.’

Since moving out of the villa, Molly and Zach have been together all the time, and the pair even headed to New York for a city break last weekend.

Now, however, the couple is spending some time apart while Molly goes on vacation with her family, with whom she is incredibly close.

It was revealed earlier this month that the pair are reportedly the favorites to be the first couple from Love Island’s 2023 series to get engaged and have a baby.

Despite coming fourth, according to the bookmakers, the couple is most likely to be the first to achieve major relationship milestones ahead of the others in their series.

It comes after Kady got involved in a heated argument with Zachariah on Sunday’s explosive reunion episode.

A feud has been going on between the couple and Kady ever since, and during the reunion, Zach said it was “obvious” who spilled the tea outside the villa.
