Molly-Mae Hague is mum-shamed by trolls after failing to put daughter Bambi in a car seat

Molly-Mae Hague has been cruelly mother-shamed for carrying her daughter Bambi in her arms while in the back of a black cab.

The 23-year-old former Love Island star took her five-week-old daughter on a trip to London on Tuesday and shared snaps of the outing on her Instagram.

In an instant, Molly-Mae, who shares Bambi with her partner Tommy Fury, also 23, held the little girl in her arms to let her look out the window as they were driven to their hotel.

But unimpressed Instagram users quickly flooded in the comments to criticize the new mom for not using a car seat.

One user wrote: ‘Using your baby as a photo prop in a moving taxi instead of keeping them as safe as possible in a car seat. Lovely influence there, let’s hope other people don’t copy!

A fourth wrote: “You are my favorite person, I literally adore you and your ways, but… Please don’t take the baby out of the car seat in a taxi.” They [could] still collide or crash into. Better safe than sorry always’.

A fifth user added: “Baby must be strapped in a car seat.”

However, it wasn’t all doom and gloom as other users came to Molly-Mae’s defense.

One said: ‘I see the Karen are out in force. There’s nothing better to do than put down a new mom like being a new mom isn’t hard enough.

Another said: ‘You all think you know everything! Leave Molly alone and stop bothering this new mom and everything she does.

“They might be things you wouldn’t do yourself for your reasons, but Molly can make decisions about her own child.”

A third wrote: ‘You can clearly see the car seat in the taxi! He obviously took the baby out when the car was stopped.’

Molly-Mae has admitted she had a “rough start” in parenting when Tommy was in training camp and for his fight in Saudi Arabia.

He returned home to the UK on Monday after his victorious boxing match against Jake Paul after his daughter Bambi was born at the end of January.

Despite his victory, Tommy said he would be ready for a rematch after the 26-year-old YouTuber publicly challenged him to another fight.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain on Thursday wearing a cast over his left eyebrow, Tommy said: “Emotions were running so high because of everything I’ve been through in the last three years.”

‘Everyone said that I was not going to do it and that I did not want to do it. I went out against all odds and came away with the victory.

Defense: It wasn’t all doom and gloom though as other users came to Molly-Mae’s defense.

‘Jake Paul is a good guy at the end of the day, and you have to do what you can to sell a fight. He went in there to prove that he could fight and he trained hard for it. Anyone who can do that is a force to be reckoned with.

‘A rematch is something I would do. It’s something I believe in. We only did eight rounds. I’m ready to go out there and have a rematch. I owe it to myself.

He added: ‘I just want to support my family. Now I have a girl and I just want to make sure that she is happy.

On Molly-Mae not watching the fight, she added: “I knew in the buildup that she would never be able to watch it because of how scared she gets.”

‘She is an amazing mother. She had a rough start because I was in training camp. This victory and the fight were for the two of them.

Molly-Mae recently admitted that the couple had some “tough times recently behind closed doors” as the pre-fight pressure took a toll on family life.

In a candid post, the influencer opened up about how proud she was of Tommy’s achievement and admitted that the couple has been through some rough patches recently.

She said, ‘DAD AT HOME ✨ From day 1 of this fight that was mentioned two and a half years ago, I’ve stood behind this boy.

‘It was definitely not a straight or easy path. We had some really not so good days behind closed doors… but Sunday night made it all worth it.

The good guy doesn’t always finish last. I am so proud of you.’
