Molly-Mae Hague hits back at mum-shamers and insists she isn’t ‘neglecting’ baby Bambi

Molly-Mae Haag has insisted she’s not “neglecting” baby Bambi before mommy-shamers had a chance to accuse her of “being a bad parent.”

The former Love Island star, 24, welcomed her first child with fiance Tommy Fury, also 24, seven months ago.

During her recent YouTube video, Bambi could be heard wailing as Molly continued to talk to the camera as she recorded her latest vlog.

But Molly has now reassured fans that she was keeping an eye on the baby monitor and wasn’t ignoring her daughter.

She told her fans, “If you ever think I’m neglecting the baby monitor and you can hear Bambi in the background, don’t think I’m neglecting her.

She told her YouTube fans, “If you ever think I’m neglecting the baby monitor and you hear Bambi in the background, don’t think I’m neglecting her.”

“She needs a little time to settle down after taking her nap.

“I always leave her alone for five minutes and then she just falls asleep. Don’t think I’m a bad mother there.’

Meanwhile, Molly-Mae admitted that she was “not sure she would ever feel happy again” after the birth of her daughter.

In an emotional conversation posted to YouTube on Thursday, the former Love Island star said she burst into tears when she saw a clip of her struggling to comfort her screaming daughter.

Molly-Mae explained that before setting up her vlogging equipment to film a daily makeup tutorial, she came across some old footage from when Bambi was a newborn.

The reality TV star said, “I came across a video that literally almost made me cry.”

Molly-Mae was quick to add a touch of humor to the conversation by blaming her emotions for the fact that her period should start soon.

“I was home alone with Bambi and she was only a few weeks old.

“She was literally screaming and crying, she had colic.

“I was trying to start vlogging again and I was really trying to rush myself to talk to you guys again and be present for you guys again.

“I was just desperate not to fall off.”

Molly-Mae added, “I always leave her alone for five minutes and she just falls asleep. Don't think I'm a bad mother there.'

In retrospect, Molly said she tried to pick things up too quickly and didn’t give herself time to understand the changes in her life.

“I think seeing that clip really made me think about how ridiculously far I’ve come and as weird as it sounds, I wasn’t sure I wanted to.

Molly-Mae recently returned from her sixth vacation of the year after flying to Spain with Bambi.

But Molly has now announced she’s going to New York for a solo work trip and is “worried” about leaving Bambi.

“This will be my last night spent with Bambi before I go to New York tomorrow,” the influencer said.

“It’s going to be the longest time I’ll spend without her and honestly I’m very worried about it.

“I’m trying not to put too much energy into the fact that we’re going to be apart for the longest time yet because it’s all bothering me and I’m afraid I’m going to get really homesick in New York…maybe has that contributed to my putting off packing.’

It comes after Molly-Mae and Tommy were criticized for “flaunting their wealth” following a number of Instagram posts.

The influencer and boxer both shared photos in a private jet with their daughter Bambi, after flying back from Ibiza where they got engaged.

On returning to Britain, they used the lavish and expensive form of transport, but their followers have called them out for their environmental impact and insensitivity during a cost-of-living crisis.

Newly engaged Molly-Mae shared a photo of her sitting on the plane with Bambi on her lap, captioning it: “On the way home with a fiancée.”

Referring to recent wildfires in Europe, someone wrote in response to the post: “Molly, the world is literally on fire, please, no more private jets.”

A second wrote: “You have gone from a sweet, down-to-earth girl to a real show-off who shoved your life of luxury in people’s faces with every post. Is it really necessary?’

Another commented, “I think you mean flying home with a huge carbon footprint and a guilty conscience – what a way to celebrate an engagement.” Someone else commented, “Happy for you, but private jet?! Is that really necessary? The world is on fire :(.’
