Molly-Mae Haag opened up about her split from Tommy Fury in her first interview and photo shoot with British Vogue.
The Love Island star, 25, shocked fans when she announced her split from the boxer, 25, in September, saying: ‘I never thought our story would end, especially this way.’
After weeks of infidelity rumors, Tommy denied he had been unfaithful in a tell-all conversation with The Mail.
Still, Molly-Mae mused that it was a “really deep situation,” telling Vogue that “no one will ever really know what happened except Tommy and I, and we’d like to keep it that way for Bambi’s sake.” ‘
Hinting that her ex had more to say, she continued, “I do think he will talk about things eventually. I do think that when he’s ready, maybe more will be said. But I think he should do it on his terms.”
She did joke that there was one upside to their split, which was “more closet space.”

Despite now being in a place where she can joke around, Molly-Mae confirmed that the divorce had come as a ‘shock’ to her and that she had been counting down the days to their wedding date in September next year.
Claiming that her desire to marry Tommy would ‘never have changed’, she continued: ‘It’s really hard when it’s taken away a little bit. But I will always have a lot of love and respect for him.”
But despite wanting the wedding to go ahead, she confessed that she had doubts during the planning process, thinking about what her wedding “should” look like instead of what she wanted it to be.
She explained: “Would I feel more confident now, after everything that’s happened and learning even more about myself, to say that actually doesn’t even make me happy is ruining the big Instagram moment, I’m going to do it this way? Certainly.’
Molly-Mae has slowly brought herself back into the public eye in recent weeks, returning to vlogging after temporarily shutting herself down following her split.
During the breakup, she was comforted by her close friends, who took her to Soho Farmhouse to blow off some steam.
While there, she revealed that she tried to drink a glass of rosé but couldn’t bring herself to drink it because she hates being drunk.
Molly-Mae also stayed busy caring for daughter Bambi, 22 months, and launching her new clothing brand, maebe.

Tommy was pressed about their split this week during an interview on ITV’s Loose Women.
Panelist Ruth Langsford asked: “You said you didn’t want to go into details about it, but how are you two doing? And you’re obviously co-parent to Bambi and it’s a tough time.”
She emphasized, “As I know when I experience these things in public, everyone has something to say, without knowing the truth.”
The boxer, who seemed rather unimpressed with Ruth for bringing up Molly-Mae, then claimed he doesn’t listen to anything in the press or on social media because ‘that’s one story’.

He said, “Yes, it really is, and that’s been the general story over the last few months. You know, I don’t listen to anything in the press and on social media, because it’s all one story, very different from the real story, and like I said, moving forward,’
‘Everyone has the right to a private life and Molly and I got together when we were very young’
‘And we just think that everything should be private in the future, because everyone has the right to that and that’s what I want. Not just for me, but for Bambi too, for her sake.”
Molly and Tommy shook the internet when they announced their split in August.
The pair have been together since they met on the ITV show five years ago.
Molly-Mae’s striking statement, which began with “never in a million years did I think I would ever have to write this,” was posted to Instagram.
She continued, “After five years of being together, I never thought our story would end, especially this way.
“I am extremely upset to announce that my and Tommy’s relationship has ended.
“I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me, now and always: my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no hair, she will always be my priority.
“I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the past five years. You have all been part of our journey and I think it is good to share this with all of you.
At the time, Molly-Mae took a step back from social media and work commitments as she tries to come to terms with life without Tommy.
She added: ‘While I try to navigate the days and weeks ahead, please respect my privacy during this difficult time, I will be back when it feels right. Molly-Mae x’
Just under an hour later, Tommy broke his silence on the split, writing on his Instagram Stories, “I am heartbroken to share that Molly and I have decided to end our relationship.
‘The past five years have led to us having our beautiful baby girl, Bambi and I will forever be grateful to Molly for making me a father. Bambi is our priority.
“Please respect our privacy, and the privacy of our families, as we navigate our way through this difficult time.”
Tommy was then accused of cheating on Molly-Mae after claiming to have shared a passionate kiss with Danish Milla Corfixen, 20, during a lads holiday in North Macedonia.
However, he insisted he was not unfaithful, telling The Mail: “All the allegations that have been made against me recently are completely false.
“The truth will come out in time and when it does, I think many people will regret their actions and unkind words.
‘What the public thinks is going on is not what is going on. It’s not something I expected, but it didn’t come out of nowhere. It’s something that’s been there before in all of this, but the only people who know what’s going on in our relationship are me and Molly.
‘I think if you’re going to cheat on someone, you should just sit down and say, “I don’t love you anymore,” obviously, because you want to pursue other people.
‘When you get to that stage I think you just have to stop doing it. If you want to go out and have affairs with women, then you definitely shouldn’t be with your partner. Absolutely not. And did I ever reach that point? No.’
He continued to insist he would “fight” to save their relationship, saying: “100 percent. I know what to do to solve the problems. And that’s on me. No one but me can do that…
‘It’s real love. Do I still love Molly? 100 percent. I will love her till my last breath.”
The couple met on series five of Love Island in 2019 and finished in second place.
They became official just weeks after their first villa date and moved in together in Manchester a month after returning to Britain.
Tommy popped the question in July 2023 after flying to Ibiza with Molly-Mae for a fake brand trip that was actually a secret proposal.
In October 2023, Tommy’s behavior raised eyebrows among fans after he was spotted partying with girls and unlikely friend Chris Brown in Abu Dhabi.
The boxer sparked concern between his and Molly-Mae’s fans after he was spotted in a clip targeting an attractive brunette – who playfully grabbed his face as he danced directly behind her.
During Tommy’s week of celebrations, eyes were drawn to Molly-Mae and the fact that she was missing a crucial accessory.
While Tommy enjoyed a solo holiday, Molly-Mae stayed in Manchester with their young daughter, where she was spotted without her engagement ring for the first time.
In December, Molly-Mae sparked concern when she broke down in tears and admitted she had ‘gone through it’ when she was seen without an engagement ring again.

She explained, “Guys, I don’t really know what to say here right now. I know how bad I look. Believe me, no matter how bad I look, I feel twenty times worse.
‘I’ve experienced it in more ways than one.
“I’m hoping that in about a week or so I’ll be in a place mentally and physically emotionally where I can get back to filming some good content for you guys and getting back on my channel.
‘So please be patient, I really want to get back to you. I love you guys and I’ll talk to you very soon.”
