Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury are rekindling their relationship and could even be back ON. Read how and why in KATIE HIND’s bombshell report

They were the Posh and Becks of reality TV, more beloved as a duo than as individual entities.

When Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury split last month, it not only left their millions of loyal fans in mourning, but also left their hugely lucrative joint brand in tatters.

Their romance began after they met on ITV’s Love Island in 2019. They came second on the show and quickly won the hearts of captivated Gen Z viewers, who regarded them as a ‘fairytale family’.

As Molly, a model and beauty pageant winner, and Tommy, a professional boxer and the younger brother of world boxing champion Tyson Fury, shared more and more of their seemingly enviable lives on social media, their fan base grew.

Along with the millions of followers came lucrative sponsorship deals: Tommy became the food ambassador for M&S and signed contracts with fashion brands such as Diesel.

Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague were due to marry next year, but split last month after the boxer was accused of cheating.

Molly-Mae, meanwhile, was snapped up as the face and creative director (she has since stepped down from the role) of fast-fashion brand PrettyLittleThing, and the money poured in – around £9 million.

Then came the heartbreak. The couple, who were due to marry next year, split three weeks ago after Tommy was accused of cheating.

They both spoke of their devastation, and their fans showed an extraordinary outpouring of emotion online.

One photo from Molly-Mae’s Instagram about the split has received 1.2 million likes from her 8 million followers and thousands of comments: “I always thought this couple were so perfect!” cried one female fan.

Those fans can now rest easy, though, as can the companies that paid handsomely to capitalize on the commercial power of the couple’s brand. (A pending deal with Netflix, for example, is said to be potentially worth £1 million.)

Because the Mail can reveal that the couple are rebuilding their relationship. Friends have told me that Molly-Mae and Tommy, who have an 18-month-old daughter Bambi together, are getting their romance back on track.

So much so that Tommy is now a regular visitor to Molly-Mae’s £4million, six-bedroom mansion in Cheshire, where the trio lived as a family until Molly-Mae evicted him last month.

It’s amazing how successful Molly-Mae has become, that it was recently reported that she bought the pile on her own, without the help of her fiancé.

Friends say they ‘get along really well’ and that Tommy spends his evenings with Molly-Mae.

One of the catalysts for their renewed affection is Bambi, the star of both Molly-Mae and Tommy’s social media platforms, whose children they have been raising together since their split.

A source told me they are “getting close again” and that a reunion is now “very realistic.”

“Molly-Mae and Tommy seem to be finding a way to work through their issues,” said a friend. “Some close to them are even going so far as to say they are on the road to a full reconciliation.

‘It will come as a surprise to many, but despite everything, they love each other.

‘They practically grew up together, they were barely 20 when they met and they’ve been through the whole fame thing together. That bond and those times can never be taken away from them.

‘They had to see each other because of Bambi and it was a good opportunity for them to start the process of getting back together. They are enjoying some quiet time away from the spotlight.

“There has been so much drama in the last three or four weeks, they just want some peace and quiet to deal with their problems.”

It’s true that the past few weeks, since Molly suddenly announced their split on – where else? – Instagram, have been intense.

After penning her emotional revelation online – “Never in a million years did I think I’d ever have to write this…” she began her statement – Molly-Mae took to social media to share the perfect insight into her life as a singleton.

She thanked all her ‘online friends’ for their support and even went to a bridal shop to try on wedding dresses for a white themed party, talking about her emotions about not actually buying a real one.

There’s no denying that this all makes for compelling online content and her non-stop publicity campaign is something Molly-Mae has no doubt been helped with by her manager, Francesca Britton, who has been by her side since the very first days of her Love Island departure.

There’s no denying, however, that the split was terrible timing for many of the couple’s joint deals. They were in negotiations over a Netflix deal thought to be worth more than £1million, which would see Molly-Mae and Tommy follow in the footsteps of his big brother Tyson (he and wife Paris have their own hugely popular series At Home With The Furies on the streaming giant).

The plan was to turn their show into a documentary that would give the millions of fans in their homes the chance to see how they lived their daily lives, including Bambi.

But when the plans fell apart, they seemed to fall apart.

“It’s an example of what a brand can do to you,” said a show business insider.

And then there’s the matter of Tommy’s book. His eagerly anticipated autobiography is due out on October 9. But because the book was finished before he split from Molly-Mae, it doesn’t include details about their divorce, which may deter potential readers from buying it.

Tommy is apparently under pressure to add a chapter, but given the short publication date that might be impossible.

“You’re essentially buying a book that was written when Tommy was in one of the most high-profile celebrity relationships, but is no longer,” a source tells me.

“If they get back together, it will definitely help sales.”

It would have been a high price to pay for what looked like a truly banal act of infidelity. Within hours of Molly-Mae announcing the end of their relationship online, there were claims that Tommy had cheated.

At the heart of these allegations was 20-year-old Danish jeweler’s assistant Milla Corfixen, who Tommy met while on holiday with his friends in North Macedonia.

There were reports that Tommy had flirted with her and behaved ‘inappropriately’. However, Tommy vehemently denied all allegations of misconduct.

As for Milla, she said: ‘We had a great time, but nothing happened. We talked about Molly-Mae, and Bambi and how beautiful she was.

“We were just getting to know each other, no flirting.”

Since then, Molly-Mae has carefully balanced her social media output between the personal and the professional, with her posts teasing her fans about a new project called Maebe.

In what appears to be a carefully orchestrated publicity campaign, she has been making several video blogs talking about the upcoming project she will announce tomorrow. She will start selling her goods – presumably clothing and accessories – from September 21st.

She also promotes her successful self-tanning brand Filter, which has likely increased her net worth.

In a clip, she appeared to address her split to draw attention to the relationship, saying: ‘It was bad timing, but it was also kind of a blessing because it was a huge distraction for me and I could pour all my emotions into it.

“I’ve been working on it non-stop, almost every day,” she said. “My heart and soul have gone into this project.”

Earlier this week, Tommy announced that he also has a “new and exciting” project planned for the end of the year.

Yesterday, reports emerged that he is in talks to join ITV reality show Im A Celeb, in what is said to be a huge deal.

Perfect timing, all in all, for a reconciliation. And who knows, maybe wedding bells will ring soon. Celebrity weddings can be very lucrative.
