Molly-Mae Hague, 24, claims she’s having a ‘midlife crisis’ as she admits she’s become ‘a different person’ since shooting to fame on Love Island
Molly-May Hague has revealed how she’s changed as a person since she first shot to fame on Love Island in 2019.
The influencer, 24, shared a new video on YouTube this week, where she was honest about wanting “different things” in life and feeling she “wasn’t me”.
She first shot to fame four years ago after appearing in the fifth series of Love Island, coming second with her now-fiancé Tommy Fury.
Molly-May admitted she gradually changed over the next four years and says she “went down mentally” as she grew up, established a career and gave birth to eight-month-old daughter Bambi.
Addressing her followers, she began: “I’m having a midlife crisis right now. And the fact that I’m having a midlife crisis is that I’m sitting here with a coloring book and crayons.

Changed: The 24-year-old influencer shared a new video on YouTube this week, where she got candid about wanting ‘different things’ in life and feeling she ‘wasn’t herself’
“I need an activity that doesn’t move on my phone.” I need something where my brain isn’t active. I think coloring is the perfect thing for that.
“I feel like I’m mentally broken.” I’ve been down physically since I actually got Bambi.
‘Mentally, physically, emotionally I just feel like I’ve been on another planet and I can’t put my finger on why. I just wasn’t myself, I don’t know why.’
Molly-Mae continued: “Sometimes I come to my videos and I’m like, ‘I’m in such a good place, I’m making progress!’
“And after that I said on the vlog: ‘I’m in such a bad place, I’m so sad, I can’t stop crying.’ That’s who I am, and I think that’s potentially being a woman, being a man.
“I feel like I’ve become a different person recently and I don’t think it happened overnight.” I think gradually as I grew up and over the last four and a half years I have had a career like now.
“I’m just changing and wanting different things.” Do you ever feel like you don’t fit in where you are and suddenly want to change everything in your life?
“You want to change the way you look, you want to change your job, you want to change what you do day-to-day, you want to change your routine, the way you eat, the way you exercise — like literally you want to change everything.”

Huge: Elsewhere in the vlog, Molly-Mae discussed how to deal with Tommy, 24, who has been in training camp as he prepares to fight his rival KSI at the AO Arena in Manchester on October 14 (Tommy and KSI pictured in August)
‘That’s where I am right now. I just feel like it’s such a transitional moment in my life and I’m so excited.’
She then teased that she’s currently working on a big new project behind the scenes, saying it’s the biggest thing she’s done in her career, but she can’t reveal it yet.
She said: “I’m working on something that is the most exciting thing in my entire career. It doesn’t even compare to anything I’ve done before. I’m sad I can’t talk about it.’
Elsewhere in the vlog, Molly-Mae discussed coping with Tommy, 24, who was at boot camp, while is getting ready to fight his rival KSI at the AO Arena in Manchester on October 14.
She admitted the separation was difficult and expressed her nervousness about the fight, saying she was “trying really hard not to think about it”.
But she added: “Yes week eight or nine we don’t live together and only see each other on weekends.
“I’m very ready for some normalcy now, I always find that eventually we both get to the point where we’ve had enough and it’s a very difficult environment for him.”
Molly-Mae has previously made no secret of her dislike of watching Tommy in the ring and stayed away from TV during his fight with Jake Paul in February.

While at the time the cutie cried when she heard about his win, she couldn’t bear to watch Tommy in the ring.
She remained in the UK with Bambi, who had been born just weeks earlier, while Tommy traveled to his long-awaited showdown with Jake.
Ali did not watch the fight on TV and her sister Zoe shared a video of her hiding in her bedroom as her family and friends watched the confrontation.
Speaking last year after watching Tommy take on Daniel Bocianski, Molly-May admitted it was “terrifying” to watch her partner get pummeled in the ring.
“I don’t actually watch it – I watch the screen, it’s my way of dealing with it,” she told BT Sport at the time.
“Watching him in the flesh is much more difficult. I watch it on the screen and it relieves a bit of stress, but I have fingernail marks on my hand where they dug in.’
‘It’s just horrible. I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy honestly. The fear of seeing your person in the ring is not pretty. It really isn’t,” she added.
Tommy recently praised Molly-Mae for supporting his career despite “hating” the sport and revealed that she only “tolerates” boxing because it makes him happy.

He said further BBC Breakfast: ‘She watches the earth while I fight. She only tolerates boxing because she knows how much it makes me happy. That’s it.
“Besides, she hates it. He doesn’t like to talk about it, he doesn’t like to watch it, nothing, which I understand.’
Tommy admitted that he understood how hard it was for Molly-May to watch him get pummeled in the ring.
“She watches her partner, the father of her baby, enter the ring, fight and punch,” he continued.
‘It’s not a nice feeling, so I commend her, I am.’
