Mollie King proudly cheered on her fiancé Stuart Broad as he began his last day of Test cricket on Monday.

With their baby daughter Annabella, the Saturday star, 35, attended The Oval for the fifth and final Ashes test of the series, bringing the curtain down on Stuart’s 17-year career before retiring.

Mollie was the quintessential loving mother as she held her daughter on the oval balcony and watched Stuart take to the field for the last time.

She opted for a chic white look, while little eight-month-old Annabella was dressed in a cute pink outfit.

After a brief rain delay, England and Australia took to the pitch for the final day of the series, with Stuart aptly starting for the home nation after seeing Mark hug Wood in the dressing room.

An early wicket ended David Warner, while a strong bowl from Stuart Broad beat Usman Khawaja, who later fell victim to England’s second wicket of the day.

Broad’s third delivery hit the stumps, but it wasn’t long before England earned their third wicket within the hour meaning Labuschagne was gone.

Despite England having already lost the series due to a fourth test failure, England are determined to draw the series in style by beating the Aussies in their final test.

Stuart was given a guard of honor by the Australian players as he walked out for the last time on Sunday to bat alongside his bowling partner and close friend Jimmy Anderson.

Broad hit his last ball in Test cricket for six before England were knocked out for 395 – giving Australia a seemingly insurmountable challenge to earn their first Ashes series victory in 22 years.

Despite England’s woes, Broad made history this summer when he became the second ever sailor to reach 600 Test wickets.

Stuart announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on Saturday ahead of the final two days of the Fifth Test.

After a 17-year career that saw him become England’s second most prolific Test bowler, he will now join the Sky Sports commentary team.

In discussing his decision to retire, Stuart admitted that he wants to be present for his new daughter and spend time at home with Mollie, who has supported him throughout his career.

Mollie took to her Instagram in the early hours of Sunday to congratulate her beau on his successful career.

She uploaded some sweet photos of Stuart playing cricket as a kid and wrote the sweet message: ‘What a moment @stuartbroad – your last test! My dear, you have brought joy to so many cricket fans around the world, and especially your family.

“We loved every minute of cheering you on and we are so incredibly proud of you.

“Watching you fulfill your dream is something I will never forget. Annabella and I will be cheering you and the team on today, as always. We love you so much’.

Mollie and Stuart first met through mutual friends in 2012 but didn’t get together until March 2018.

Stuart popped the question to Mollie in January 2021 and has since revealed that they are postponing their wedding because they want baby Annabella to be more involved in the marriage.
