Modern Family’s Nolan Gould Reveals His Dogs Maple And Ender Died In The Same Week

Former Modern Family star Nolan Gould shared the news on Sunday that he had suffered double tragedies as his dogs Maple and Ender had died.

Adding to his distress, the 24-year-old actor revealed that both dogs had died in the past week, although he noted that their deaths were unrelated.

Nolan, who showed off his amazing physical transformation after the conclusion of Modern Family, shared a sweet photo of his two adorable dogs as they lounged on dog beds next to each other.

“It is with a heavy heart that I share the news that Maple and Ender passed away this week,” he wrote. “Their respective deaths were unrelated, but they were a terrible, sad and unfair case.”

He added: “However, I can say that each one of them left in peace and that they were surrounded by lots of love and care and all the snacks.”

Nolan noted that he had debated whether he should share his personal tragedy with his 1.6 million Instagram followers, though he decided it might help the “many” people who had developed a connection to Maple and Ender.

‘My dogs meant a lot to so many people and they meant the world to me. My pups have met hundreds of people over the years, brightening many people’s days. It was really impossible not to love them,’ he continued.

The reality TV star especially thanked everyone who visited or cared for Maple and Ender when she had to spend time away from them due to travel or a busy work schedule.

“Couldn’t have done it without you, especially when they got older and needed more help,” she wrote.

Nolan added that he was afraid to move on without the loving dogs that had been by his side for years.

“I get scared thinking about what my life would be like without them, but I remind myself that nothing in life is guaranteed and I’m grateful for what I have and the time I spent with some amazing souls, human or otherwise.” ‘, he concluded, before asking his friends to share the photos they had of the dogs.

In addition to her photo of the dogs in her bed, which showed Ender on the left and Maple on the right, she included short videos of the dogs.

One clip was shot with a filter to make it look like it was shot on 8mm film, and showed Maple strutting outside and putting her head close to her hand for some pets.
