Models walk the runways of London Fashion Week in BIZARRE outfits – from ceramic ‘clothes’ to crotchet bonnets

Models across London have wowed the fashion community by walking the catwalk in a range of bizarre looks, including crochet bonnets and ceramic torso pieces.

London Fashion Week has only just started today, but the event has already seen a selection of weird and wonderful creations hit the catwalk.

Designs from innovators like Stefan Cook brought a unique and original quality to one of the most renowned events when it comes to fashion.

Elsewhere in London, the Prophetik’s Show, ‘Let The Be Naked’, surprised observers after a model rode down the catwalk on a white horse.

Today was the first day of London Fashion Week and the event already showcased a selection of bizarre creations

One model wore a black and white textured suit, which came with a furry backpack in the shape of a bunny.

The unique piece featured a hood with the same textured pattern and was paired with Matrix-style sunglasses.

Continuing a bizarre aesthetic, a second runway look showed a half-naked man holding a piece of broken pottery to his torso.

The look, created by the team behind the Di Pesta show, consisted of a chunky necklace and plain black boxer shorts.

They wore shiny bronzed cream over their bodies, seemingly in keeping with the ceramics theme.

There was also a unique creative makeup aesthetic, with the model opting for a gold eyeshadow look with red undertones.

A third design showed a unique take on the Turkish hat, known as the Fez hat.

Created by Bora Aksu, this avant-garde creation sees the Fez hat redesigned in crochet form.

Another design showed a yellow, blanket-shaped dress that seemed to create a dress.

The mid-length of the creation revealed the model’s lower legs and gave a clear glimpse of the loafer shoes with similar studs.

They wore the poncho dress with a leather bag in a number of striking colors.

And it’s not Stefan Cooke’s only quirky look, created in 2017 by the British designer who founded his brand after graduating from Central Saint Martins in 2017.

One model wore a black veil with a sheer mesh dress with sparkling embellishments across the center of the ensemble, paired with simple black sandals.

The Di Pesta collection, worn by the likes of Gigi Hadid, is a London-based brand founded by Greek designer Dimitra Petsa.

One element of the show in particular features a group of models performing a unique interpretive dance while wearing lilac dresses.
