Models spotted wearing Lovehoney necklace vibrators at Karla Spetic Australian Fashion Week runway

An X-rated accessory in these models’ outfits at Australian Fashion Week raises eyebrows…but can you spot it?

An X-rated accessory was discreetly styled in a variety of designer looks during Australian Fashion Week, causing fashionistas to do double-takes from the sidelines.

On Wednesday night, Karla Špetić’s latest ready-to-wear collection graced the catwalk at Australian Fashion Week, and some models wore or wore tiny vibrators.

While the easy-to-miss detail would be a nod to Karla’s sponsor, online sex shop Lovehoney, some onlookers said it encouraged a healthy sex life and destigmatized complacency.

The Lovehoney Dare Discreet Necklace Vibrator, priced at $97.45, looks more like a fancy pen or long pendant than a sex toy.

Other models were seen with the deluxe 12 function rechargeable silicone clitoral vibrator and the Desire deluxe rechargeable bullet vibrator.

Before that, she was photographed outside Carriageworks in Redfern to show off the look.

An advocate for a healthy and fulfilling sex life, Chantelle is no stranger to incorporating sex toys into her wardrobe.

Her bold and playful approach to fashion shows how sex toys can be stylish, playful and functional.

This is Karla’s second time collaborating with Lovehoney for fashion week.

On the decision to add a snappy gadget, Karla said, “This season I was thinking a lot about the natural world, wellness and tapping into the Earth’s frequency and raising higher vibrations.

“That’s exactly what we’re doing with Lovehoney this season: raising higher vibrations for our audience.”

The collection as a whole aligns with the overarching theme of earthing, with the natural frequencies of the earth.

“Everything is energy, I thought about reconnecting with the natural world. I wanted to go back to basics and take advantage of that,’ Karla added.
