  • Pictures of the meeting have circulated online and many have praised Mr. Bakhos.

A model dressed as a ‘sexy nun’ and her photographer were awkwardly kicked out of a Sydney cathedral after a parishioner caught them in the middle of a photo shoot.

Charlie Bakhos had been at St. Mary’s Cathedral in the city’s financial district on Monday when he saw a woman dressed in scantily undergarments, white knee-high socks, high heels and a nun’s habit.

Three others were with the woman and are believed to have been taking photos of her when Bakhos started filming and ordered them to leave the church immediately.

“I don’t know who gave you permission to take photos here in the cathedral like that,” he is heard saying in the images.

Get your things and get out of here.

Charlie Bakhos had been at St Mary’s Cathedral in Sydney’s CBD on Monday when he saw a woman dressed in scantily undergarment, white knee-high socks, high heels and a nun’s habit.

The model is seen walking away from the camera as the shoot coordinators awkwardly scramble to collect their gear.

Mr. Bakhos then demanded the photographer delete the images from his camera.

“There’s a sign out front saying no photos are taken here without permission,” he tells the group.

The photographer was then shown deleting the photos from his camera before Bakhos left.

The video has circulated on Twitter with much praise for Mr. Bakhos for standing up to the group, with many saying the holy sites “need to be respected.”

Mr. Bakhos ordered the photographer to delete the images on his camera as the group rushed to pack up their gear.

“Extremely disrespectful,” one person commented.

‘Why do people always sexualize nuns?’ another wrote.

“Absolutely disgusting and embarrassing,” added a third.

A spokesman for the Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney said the cathedral must be respected, regardless of an individual’s faith.

‘St Mary’s Cathedral is a sacred space for the Catholic Church in Australia and many others who come to seek peace and solace within its walls. The Cathedral has been visited by three popes, three Catholic saints, and is a welcoming place for all, especially the poor, the disadvantaged and the marginalized,” the spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia.

“The unfortunate reality, however, is that, as the Mother Church of Australia, it is regularly a magnet for malicious acts of vandalism, property damage and offensive behaviour.

‘We accept that not everyone shares our beliefs, but all people of religious faith should be able to expect their places of worship to be respected, or at least not ridiculed and subjected to indecent acts.

‘Respect for those who may be different from you should be a value that unites all Australians.’
