MOBO Awards 2024: Love Island winner Sanam Harrinanan stuns in an elegant asymmetrical gown as she joins boyfriend Kai Fagan on the red carpet in Sheffield

Love Island winners Sanam Harrinanan and Kai Fagan wowed on the red carpet at the MOBO Awards 2024 in Sheffield on Wednesday evening.

Sanam, 25, wore a beautiful purple textured asymmetrical dress with gold heels and jewelry.

Her dimples were on full display as she smiled and Kai, also 25, rested an arm on her lower back.

Kai wore a navy blue suit which he paired with a black crew neck top, a silver pendant necklace and black shoes.

Sanam and Kai won the second and final winter series of Love Island in March 2023.

Second place went to Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall, who split in July, and in third place were Samie Elishi and Tom Clare, the latter of whom is currently starring in Love Island: All Stars.

Tanya Manhenga and Shaq Muhammad, in fourth place, convinced fans they were engaged during a trip to Tanzania this week.

Sanam and Kai have been open about it in the past are not given the same opportunities as their predecessors.

At this year’s MOBO ceremony, Stormzy and Little Simz get the most nods after both being nominated four times.

Critically acclaimed rapper Little Simz received nominations for Best Female Act, Album of the Year, Video of the Year and Best Hip Hop Act.

Simz claimed a big win at last year’s ceremony in London, winning Album of the Year in a joint win with Knucks, which saw a draw for the first time in MOBO history.

In the Best Female category, she is up against Flo, Jorja Smith, Mahalia, Pinkpatheress and Raye.

Elsewhere, grime superstar Stormzy has been nominated for Best Male Act, Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Video of the Year.

The critically acclaimed MC has won six MOBO Awards in his career and was the first ever to receive Best Grime Act when the category was introduced in 2014.

He fights Central Cee, Dave, D-Block Europe, J Hus and Nines.

For the first time in its history, the 26th MOBO Awards will be organized in partnership with MOBOLISE and will take place at the Utilita Arena in Sheffield.

This year’s Awards, the first since 2022, are presented by Indiyah Polack and Babatunde Aléshé.
