Mohamed Salah has given Liverpool a major boost after being pictured back on the grass as he continues his recovery from injury.
Salah suffered an injury in the first half of Egypt’s 2–2 draw against Ghana in the Africa Cup of Nations on January 18.
The Egyptian Football Association had confirmed that the injury was a back muscle strain, and the injury was expected to rule him out for four weeks.
Salah returned to England to continue his rehabilitation and had to watch from afar as Egypt were defeated on penalties by DR Congo in the last 16.
The 31-year-old’s focus is not on helping Liverpool in the hunt for four trophies this season, including reaching the Premier League in Jurgen Klopp’s final season as manager.

Salah indicated that he is making good progress in his recovery by posting a photo of himself on social media.
Liverpool shared the photo with the caption “recovery work continues.”
Klopp has warned that Liverpool will be cautious about bringing Salah back into the fold after injury.
Salah will be absent from the Reds Crunch Premier League match against Chelsea at Anfield on Wednesday evening.
Liverpool also face a crucial clash against title rivals Arsenal in February, ahead of games against Burnley and Brentford.
The match against Brentford falls on February 17, almost a month after Salah suffered his injury at AFCON.
Salah is Liverpool’s top scorer this season, with 18 goals and eight assists in all competitions.
His 14 Premier League goals put him at the top of the Premier League goalscoring charts, level with Manchester City star Erling Haaland.
Salah had initially hoped to recover in time to play for Egypt in the closing stages of AFCON, but the Pharaohs suffered a last-16 exit.
He was forced to hit back at critics who questioned his commitment to Egypt after returning to England for treatment.

Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbass Issa, also took to the social media platform to launch a blistering attack against those who questioned his client’s commitment to the Egyptian national team.
