It appears Major League Baseball’s annual General Managers Meetings have an uninvited guest sidelining dozens of executives.

More than 30 of the approximately 300 officials present reportedly suffered from an apparent stomach virus in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The cause of the outbreak is currently unknown, but it is suggested that it could be food-borne illness from Tuesday’s lunch buffet or a virus.

Nearly every team in the league has been affected by this Sports illustratedwhile the league office has seen eight people fall ill.

Several executives who did not eat the lunch buffet have also fallen ill, raising fears that the disease is contagious.

A memo was sent to teams across the league, asking them to report any illnesses and offer assistance to the Diamondbacks’ team doctors. It is said that MLB has also asked servers at the location to wear masks and gloves.
