Reds outfielder Jake Fraley was caught cursing out Phillies fans Thursday night, losing his cool after some ‘light insults’ were thrown his way at Citizens Bank Park.
The incident unfolded at the bottom of the fourth inning after some previous heckling from a group of Phillies fans.
Fan Chris Devine, who recorded the video of the spat, said the comments were the ‘most basic insults,’ as the fans gave Fraley a hard time for his .239 batting average.

Nonetheless, Fraley didn’t take kindly to the comments, pointing his finger and telling the fans to ‘shut the f***’ up’ before getting back into position.
One of the fans at the receiving end of Fraley’s words can be heard repeatedly saying ‘You got the wrong guy!’ before perhaps sarcastically clapping the outfielder off.
After the incident, according to Devine, Fraley had the fans removed.
Fraley had the fans ejected by security afterwards, and the Reds lost the game 4-0
‘It was weak stuff on Jake Fraley’s part,’ said Devine, who disagreed with the decision to toss the fans.
‘It’s Philadelphia, I know people say Philly’s too vulgar… the guys that got thrown out tonight didn’t do anything wrong.
‘They were throwing the lightest insults I’ve ever heard in my life. And Jake Fraley just took it way too seriously.’
The Phillies won the game 4-0 to complete a four-game sweep of the Reds.
