Colin Fassnidge revealed on Friday that Michelin-starred chef Raymond Blanc is the most difficult cook he has ever worked with, due to a confrontational policy in his kitchen.
The 48-year-old My Kitchen Rules judge said he worked with the famed chef at a hotel in England several years ago.
He told Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa that he worked the late shift and would sometimes come to work with a five o’clock shadow, which had to be shaved immediately for hygiene.
Famous chef Colin Fassnidge (pictured) said French chef Raymond Blanc is the most difficult cook he has worked with because of a confrontational policy he had in his kitchen
Colin said he should trim his beard with the same razor that kitchen staff use to prepare their ready-to-eat frozen pigs.
“They would shave them with a rusty old Bic razor. They would leave me in the kitchen and shave with this razor,” Colin said.
“You’d get lumps out of it,” he added.
Colin said he worked with the Michelin-starred chef (pictured) in a London hotel kitchen and was surprised by a policy they had of saying staff’s facial hair should be shaved
Wippa then asked Colin if he ever felt like he was one of the frozen pigs himself, and a grim Colin confirmed that he did.
It comes after the MKR star shared his thoughts on his former co-star Pete Evans.
Evans, who previously appeared on My Kitchen Rules with Fassnidge, was kicked out of the show in 2020 after multiple scandals.

The Dublin-born culinary whiz kid said, although he hasn’t kept in touch with Evans, 49, he does have empathy for him.
“I haven’t heard from him in a while. I think he should keep his head down because it’s not fun [what he’s faced]said Colin Zodiac sign magazine.
He added that while the couple can’t always see eye to eye, he doesn’t like to face Evans.
“I get along with Pete, I don’t agree with everything he says…well, most of it,” he said.
