Mixologists have unveiled a range of alcoholic drinks that will help you stay merry without compromising your health goals.

With summer in full swing and bars busier than ever, many people are looking for ways to stay tipsy without giving up their diet and fitness regimes.

While cocktails are known for being loaded with sugar and calories, there are some that you can drink even if you want to show up in a bikini.

Now, cocktail experts share how to raise a glass with your friends at the bar while keeping your washboard abs in shape.

From the classic Arnold Palmer’s to a Frozen Pimm’s Cup, here are the five drinks you can drink that will help you slim down. But does your favorite make the list?

Frozen Pimm’s Cup

To make the drink, you will need 170ml Pimm’s No.1, 60ml simple syrup, 20ml fresh lemon juice, four thin slices of cucumber, four strawberries, one slice of peeled ginger, 12 mint leaves and two cups of ice.

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Divide the drink between four tall glasses and enjoy.

Noah Small, corporate beverage director at Empellón in New York City, recently told Men’s health: ‘A pinch of salt, combined with some citrus, really brings out the flavor and makes the drink look more three-dimensional.’

To make this drink, fill a tall glass with ice, add 45 ml mescal, 60 ml grapefruit juice, 15 ml lime juice, three drops of grapefruit bitters and a pinch of salt.

Stir all ingredients together and top up with club soda.

“It’s just not something you should really think about,” Jeffrey Morgenthaler, co-owner of Pacific Standard in Oregon, told Men’s Health.

To make this, mix 19 ml orange juice, 19 ml lime juice, 14 ml syrup and one tsp.

Fill a glass with ice and top up with beer. Stir everything together and you’re ready to sip.

“Tea tends to get really light and frothy, and that makes for a great drinking experience,” Harrison Snow, co-owner and beverage director at Lullaby in New York City, told the outlet.

To make it, all you have to do is shake four ounces of tea with four ounces of lemonade. You can add ice to it and enjoy.
