Parramatta halfback Mitch Moses will have his biggest fan at home cheering him on during Sunday’s NRL grand final – his daughter Aspyn.
The 28-year-old and his partner Bri Gardoni were photographed on Monday leaving Mater Hospital in North Sydney with their new bundle of joy.
They both looked relaxed in loose-fitting sportswear and trainers, while Moses couldn’t take his eyes off his new baby girl as he carried her to their vehicle in a baby pod.

Moses was full of admiring glances for his beautiful new daughter Aspyn as he carried his newborn baby to their vehicle
The couple also posted their first photo of their new daughter on social media, which shows a beautiful and healthy girl in a pink swaddle with a white bow on her head.
“ASPYN ELLE MOSES 23.09.2022 – We can’t be in love with you anymore,” the couple posted on Instagram.
While Moses was full of loving looks as he carried his daughter to the car, the halfback missed Aspyn’s birth as he had to fly to Townsville for Eels’ preliminary final against the North Queensland Cowboys.

Bri wasn’t due to give birth until this week, but little Aspyn couldn’t wait to join the world and Moses got the call while he was in Townsville hours before the game.
It has since been revealed that coach Brad Arthur told his star halfback to return home for the birth, even if it meant losing the preliminary final due to his absence.
‘What are you doing here? Get out of here,” Arthur said.
But the father-to-be told him he couldn’t let his teammates down and instead witnessed the birth of his child via FaceTime.
“I just looked at him and said, ‘I can’t.’ I can’t leave these guys here, considering how hard we’ve worked all year,” Moses said.
Needless to say, Bri wasn’t happy with Moses’ team-first attitude at first.
“She was a little nasty at first when she was admitted and said it’s going to be like this,” Moses said.
“She was a little dirty. But she understood. She has supported me through everything. She’s seen how much work I’ve put in this year to be in the position we’re in. I have a family now – all this is for them.’

The whole week has been a rollercoaster,” he told Nine’s Wide World of Sports on Friday after the game.
“Last week I lost my grandmother. We laid her to rest on Monday, and then four hours ago I would welcome my first child via FaceTime. And now I’m playing a big final next week.’
The Parramatta Eels will be looking for the club’s first premiership since Peter Sterling led them to victory in 1986 when they face the defending Prime Minister Penrith Panthers in Sunday’s NRL grand final.
