Glamorous Missouri math teacher Hailey Clifton-Carmack admits having sex with student and ‘leaving her mark’
A Missouri math teacher admitted to having sex with a student after she was arrested after police obtained photos of the scratches she made on his back.
Hailey Clifton-Carmack, 26, pleaded guilty Friday to sexual contact with a student in exchange for the dropping of other charges, including rape of a minor, child molestation and child abuse, according to KRCG.
She faces up to four years in prison and will be under house arrest until her verdict is announced on October 11.
The teacher was arrested after police were alerted to the relationship between Clifton-Carmack and a student. A classmate came forward and showed photos of the teenager’s scratches.
The teen’s father, Mark Creighton, is accused of knowing about the relationship but failing to report it, and of endangering the welfare of a child.

Pulaski County District Attorney Kevin S. Hillman said People that his case is “on hold” until the teacher is convicted “as he has agreed to assist the state and testify if necessary.”
Clifton-Carmack was arrested in early January by Garden Ridge police in Comal County, Texas.
But the sexual conduct took place in Pulaski County, Missouri, about 800 miles (1,300 kilometers) from where she was stopped by police.
According to court documents, the teenage boy and the teacher had sex at school, using other students as “lookouts.” KRCG.
According to court documents, the Pulaski County sheriff was contacted by Laquey’s school counselor, who reported the relationship to police.

A student came forward and showed police photos of his classmate with scratches on his back.
The teen said the scratches were from Clifton-Carmack after he had sex with the teacher in the classmate’s driveway.
Clifton-Carmack, who has two young daughters of her own, recently separated from her husband, who was married to Chance Carmack, an amateur mixed martial arts fighter who completed basic training in the U.S. Army.
On December 8, detectives visited the school district to speak with the teacher and confiscated her phone. But until police got a warrant to unlock the phone, they were unable to find any incriminating messages.
Clifton-Carmack denied at the time having any relationship with any student outside of school.
According to court documents, Clifton-Carmack often wore “tight or low-cut shirts” and tight leggings that “exposed her body.”

After serving a search warrant, police found text messages related to the alleged relationship with the 16-year-old boy.
The student who came forward to report the relationship said the teacher is “too friendly with students and sometimes dresses inappropriately at school.”
According to court documents, Clifton-Carmack often wore “tight or low-cut shirts” to show her “headlights.”
She also wore tight leggings that “showed off her body” and was often reprimanded by school officials for “standing too close to students.”
