A missing North Carolina girl was found naked in a truck in Mississippi, hundreds of miles away from where she was abducted.
Randy Donovan Taylor, 35, of Columbus, South Carolina, was taken into custody Tuesday after he and the 12-year-old were found naked in his semi-truck at the 35/55 truck stop in Vaiden, Mississippi, according to WTVA.
Carroll County sheriff’s deputies and FBI agents searched the stop truck by truck until they found the pair after Sheriff Clint Walker received a panicked call that the missing girl, who is American, might be traveling by semi, according to the outlet.
The FBI pinged the girl’s phone and found her at the 33/55 truck stop – hundreds of miles away from her home in North Carolina.
She was reported missing on September 29 WJTV.

Taylor and the girl communicated via a mobile device and lured her from her home, Walker told WTVA.
“Seeing that kid get out of that truck was the best thing I’ve ever seen,” Walker said of the relief of finding her.
Taylor has been charged with possession of child pornography and lascivious touching and is in the custody of the U.S. Marshalls, according to WTVA.
A federal judge has denied him bail and additional charges from several states could follow. He also faces federal, state and local charges of kidnapping and victimization of a child Family AZ.
Charges are expected from North Carolina and Louisiana, authorities said, according to AZ Family.
He is currently housed at the Carrol County Regional Correctional Facility.
“Seeing that kid get out of that truck was the best thing I’ve ever seen,” Sheriff Clint Walker said of his relief at finding her.

In the U.S., a child is kidnapped or missing about every 40 seconds, which amounts to about 840,000 children, the report said. Center for Child Crime Prevention and Safety.
According to the center, most cases are resolved within a few hours.
Last month, a boy kidnapped in California in 1951 was found alive at the age of 79.
Albino was kidnapped by a woman on February 21, 1951, from a West Oakland park where he was playing with his older brother Roger, who was ten.
The woman caught his attention and lured him away by tricking him and promising to buy him sweets.
Little Luis was then flown across the country to the East Coast, where he was raised by a New York City couple as if he were their own son.

His niece, Alida Alequin, 63, who had remained in Oakland, was determined to find her long-lost uncle and, with the help of local police, FBI and the Department of Justice, she managed to piece together the clues.
Oakland police say their efforts “played an integral role in finding her uncle.”
In the time since he was taken from his family, Luis seemed to have led a decent life, having worked as a firefighter and served in the Marine Corps, including two tours of duty in Vietnam. He had also become a father and grandfather himself.
Alida managed to organize a reunion for the two brothers, Luis and Roger, now 83, to meet for the first time in 73 years.
