Missing Levi Davis ‘left friend in Ibiza suddenly to travel to Barcelona without clothes or cash’

Rugby player and X Factor star Levi Davis left his Ibiza friend ‘suddenly’ to travel to Barcelona without clothes or money before disappearing more than a week ago, tonight it emerged.
The 24-year-old winger, who placed fifth on X Factor: Celebrity in 2019, was last seen at The Old Irish Pub in Barcelona on October 29.
His good friend Richard Squire, who lives in Ibiza, said Mr Davis had told him he would see some friends and take a boat to the Catalan capital.
Mr. Davis is said to have left his friends without clothes or money, carrying only a small black backpack.
“He suddenly announced that he was going to meet friends in Barcelona,” Mr Squire said The sun. “But he didn’t say who they were and we haven’t heard from him since I received a video from the Irish pub on October 29.”
He added that “nothing has been heard from him since” and that everyone is “more and more concerned”.
England rugby stars Freddie Burns and Tom Varndell have posted a message on social media urging anyone who has seen him to get in touch.
Varndell wrote on Twitter: “If anyone has seen or heard of Levi Davis in the last two weeks, could you please message me ASAP. Thank you very much.’
Shared Varndell’s call, Leicester Tigers player Burns added: ‘Please share. Praying Levi is found safe and sound’.

Mr Davis, who appeared on E4’s Celebs Go Dating in 2020, was part of the Try Star singing group on ITV’s X Factor alongside fellow rugby stars Ben Foden and Thom Evans.
Thom made an emotional plea for information about his friend’s disappearance.
He shared a missing poster of Davis, writing on Instagram: “I’m very concerned about my friend’s whereabouts.
‘If anyone knows anything, please contact us using the details below.’
His former club, Bath Rugby, issued a call for information on the athlete’s whereabouts.
The rugby player’s ‘concerned’ family has also reported him missing to local police in Spain.
His mother Julie Davis told The Sun: ‘Levis’ family and I are very concerned about him and desperately want to know if he is okay.
‘Levi please contact us or if anyone knows anything, please contact us.
He was last spotted at The Old Irish pub off La Rambla in Barcelona, Spain, on October 29th

Davis started his rugby career with Bath in 2017 and now plays for Worthing Raiders in the National League 2 South.
He scored the first try of the season in 2019-2020 before being loaned out to Ealing Rugby. He later left the club.
In 2020, he became the first professional rugby player to come out as bisexual in an interview with the Mail on Sunday.
He told his teammates about his sexuality via a group message on WhatsApp.
