Redland Bay: Missing child is found naked, drugged and raped inside meth house

A missing young child has been found naked in a home where she was allegedly drugged and raped in a coastal town southeast of Brisbane.

A 48-year-old man has been arrested after police found a child in a Redland Bay home on Sunday.

He was later accused of rape, indecent assault on a child under 16 and administering methamphetamine for the purpose of sexual acts.

The man appeared in Cleveland District Court on Tuesday,

The court heard that he must contact his representatives at Hannay Lawyers before he can enter a plea. Courier Mail reported.

Police conducted a forensic examination of the house on Tuesday, which is still considered a crime scene.

“The police need to complete the crime scene,” prosecutor Angela Tetley told the court.

‘Smears were taken from both the child and the suspect.’

A missing young girl has been found naked, drugged and raped in a house in the coastal town of Redland Bay, Queensland, 38km south-east of Brisbane.

Police conducted a forensic examination of the property on Tuesday after officers reportedly found the child at the man’s home on Rocky Passage Road (pictured).

Sergeant Tetley added that ‘there will be many more charges to come’.

The case was adjourned until next week for a bail application.

The man is still in custody.

He will also appear in Brisbane court later this month on drug charges.
