Miranda Lambert attended the 2023 Texas Medal of Arts Awards, held at the Long Center for the Performing Arts in Austin on Wednesday night.
The 39-year-old artist seemed delighted to return to her home state for the awards ceremony, during which she was named by the Texas Cultural Trust as one of that year’s honorees.
The singer, who recently cheered on the Kansas City Chiefs during the most recent Super Bowl, is scheduled to continue her concert residency in Las Vegas next month.
Lambert looked stunning in a sleeveless, sparkly black gown during the award ceremony.
The hitmaker added an element of elegance to her outfit with a pair of dark, high-heeled pumps.

Lambert was announced to be honored by the Texas Cultural Trust last September.
At that time, the singer celebrated her inclusion in the award ceremony with a post she shared on her Instagram account.
Other honorees for this year’s iteration of the ceremony included musician Christopher Cross and actor Luke Wilson.
The singer wrote a short message in the caption of her post to express that she was still proud to be from Texas.
“I started in Texas and my honky tonk loving heart will always carry a piece of it with me wherever I go,” he wrote.
The composer went on to express her gratitude to the citizens of the state for their support and appreciation of her artistic endeavors.

Although Lambert seemed excited to spend time in her home state, she currently plans to return to Las Vegas to continue her concert residency at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood.
The singer began her series of shows on September 23, and the artist was initially scheduled to perform until April 9.
However, last December, it was announced that the hitmaker would be extending her residency with multiple dates in 2023.
The singer added dates in July, November and December, with her last concert of the career now set to take place on December 16.
