Miranda Lambert and husband Brendan McLoughlin were cautious at the 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards on Thursday.

The couple avoided her ex Blake Shelton and his wife Gwen Stefani.

“They really didn’t want to meet at a big event with all those eyes on them, so they kept their distance,” a source told DailyMail.com.

“There’s no bad blood really, Miranda just didn’t want to make a big scene so she avoided Blake.” But she is definitely on good terms with Blake and is happy for him.”

Avoiding each other wasn’t easy.

Both couples walked the red carpet, but at different times. And both performed onstage at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, with Miranda going first and Blake and Gwen shortly after.

Miranda and Brendan led a cavalcade of stars at the gala, including Jelly Roll, Reba McEntire, Kelsea Ballerini and Lainey Wilson.

Other performers this year include Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Cody Johnson, Thomas Rhett and Chris Stapleton.

Duets include Kelsea, who is nominated for female artist and album of the year, performing with Stick Season breakout singer Noah Kahan.

Meanwhile, Miranda and Brendan are doing well after five years of marriage.

The couple met in 2018 while Miranda was appearing on the Today Show and married three months later in early 2019.

It was a messy situation at the time, as McLoughlin’s ex Kaihla Rettinger had their son Landon just a few days after meeting the Drunk singer.

He was also engaged to footballer Jackie Bruno when Kaihla became pregnant.

The country singer credits the longevity of their love to strong communication skills.

A warm blush was applied to her cheekbones for a radiant glow, while a nude, satin shade was worn on her lips for a finishing touch.

The beauty showed off a cheerful smile as she took a break for a quick photo op as she arrived at the venue with her husband and country singer.

Blake was stylishly casual in classic denim blue jeans and a black shirt that was partially unbuttoned around the collar.

He paired the outfit with a black blazer with brown leather details around the shoulders and wore a pair of brown leather shoes.

The lovebirds – who tied the knot in 2021 – later took to the stage to perform together during the annual ceremony.
