Miranda Kerr has revealed that she and former husband Orlando Bloom are very friendly exes.
That tells the Australian supermodel to the Stellar podcast Something to talk about this week that she and British actor Orlando have a great relationship and are happily co-parenting their 12-year-old son, Flynn.
“From day one, Orlando and I have made a real commitment to putting Flynn’s needs at the forefront of everything we do. So that’s how he grew up – with two loving parents who want the best for him,” said the 40-year-old.
‘[Flynn] sees that in the way we communicate and in all the special moments we have together, celebrating different milestones and when we go on vacation together,” Miranda continued.
“I think it makes him feel safe knowing that we will always put his needs first, and also that we all get along so well, of course. It’s pretty special. I’m very lucky.’

The catwalk star also explained that she gets along so well with Orlando’s fiancé Katy Perry that she sees the American pop star as a ‘little sister’.
“I literally say how thankful I am for Katy every day,” the beauty gushed, adding that the wives often exchange parenting tips.
“I feel very blessed to have that relationship with her. She’s really like a sister to me and we kind of bonded from day one,” she said.
Miranda and Orlando were married between 2010 and 2013 and have a son, Flynn Bloom, 12.

Katy, 38, and Orlando, 46, got engaged in 2019 and have one daughter together, Daisy Dove Bloom, two.
Miranda opened up to Vogue Australia about all things motherhood in the magazine’s August issue last year.
She admitted that after the birth of her first child Flynn in 2011, she didn’t think she’d go back to modeling, but she was “grateful that my body was able to come back.”

The mum-of-three added: “I still don’t feel like I’m back to where I was before the babies. But I am satisfied with that.
“My body is different and it has changed, and I embrace that.”
In the accompanying interview, the couple talked about their plans to expand their family.
“I just love being a mom and I’ve always wanted three boys, so I feel really blessed to have three healthy boys. I feel like I’m open so we’ll see what God decides,” she said.

They were officially dating in 2015 and they got engaged the following year before tying the knot in May 2017.

Miranda was previously married to Hollywood actor Orlando, whom she began dating in 2007.
They married just a month after getting engaged in June 2010, but announced they were divorcing in October 2013.
