Miranda Kerr brings her own dinner party to the lavish star-studded G’Day USA Gala and eats a banana at the table while other guests sip Penfolds red wine and enjoy a three-course meal.
She attended the star-studded G’Day USA gala over the weekend, where guests dined on a three-course gourmet meal washed down with Penfolds red wine.
But Miranda Kerr, out of concern for her health, opted to bring her own dinner to the glitzy event.
The supermodel posted a photo of herself eating a banana at the table and drinking coconut water while sitting with her Snapchat billionaire husband Evan Spiegel and pop star Katy Perry.

“Medical media say coconut water and bananas are nature’s beta blockers,” Miranda wrote in the caption of her enjoying the fruit.
Beta blockers are medications that lower blood pressure and adrenaline by causing increased blood flow, according to the Mayo Clinic.

Australian radio presenters Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli and Ryan Fitzgerald were also invited to the event and said they were surprised Miranda brought her own food.
Wippa explained on her radio show Monday that her table had been “cleaned” of Penfolds 389 red wine and that Miranda, Evan and Katy hadn’t even touched their bottles.
“Our table was clean, not a drop, not a drop in sight and Miranda, Katy Perry and Evan Spiegel had not touched a full bottle of Penfolds 389,” he said.
The brunette wore a stunning white Alex Perry gown for the annual event, which celebrates the achievements of Australians in America.
The couple said they then saw Miranda eating her own food and drinking her own drink.
‘She ate a banana at the table. She had a banana for dinner,” she said.
Ryan chimed in: “She’s amazing.”
Miranda’s elegant strapless gown was ruched in the front and closed at the waist to emphasize her toned physique.
Miranda rose to fame on the catwalk for lingerie giant Victoria’s Secret.

Miranda is good friends with Katy, who began dating her ex-husband Orlando Bloom in 2016. They got engaged in 2019.
Miranda and Orlando have a son, Flynn, while he and Katy have a daughter, Daisy, who was born on August 26, 2020.
The Australian model previously spoke on the Drew Barrymore Show in November 2020 about how she formed a strong bond with Katy during family events with her 11-year-old son Flynn.
‘When it comes to special occasions where we have to be together, we work it out to have commitments. [about] what is best for our whole family,’ he said.
“We really always think about what’s best for Flynn, and I think that’s the most important thing.”
She also opened up about her son’s close relationship with Katy in 2017 when she said: “They get along really well.” We are a modern family.
Miranda has two more children, Hart and Myles, with her new husband Evan, whom she married in 2017.
