Mira Sorvino has joined season 32 of the ABC dance competition show Dancing With The Stars.

The blonde beauty is linked to professional dancer Gleb Savchenko.

The announcement was made Wednesday morning on Good Morning America.

The 55-year-old star is best known for her hit films Barcelona, ​​Mighty Aphrodite and Romy And Michele’s High School Reunion.

This comes a year after the death of her father Paul Sorvino at the age of 83.

He was best known for playing Lucchese crime family caporegime Paulie Cicero in the hit 1990 crime drama Goodfellas.

Prior to Wednesday’s announcement, Ariana Madix, Charity Lawson and Jamie Lynn Spears had been announced as three of the celebrities competing for the trophy.

Alfonso Ribeiro and new co-host Julianne Hough will take over the role of host.

Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough return as judges.

Although the series usually takes place on Monday nights, this year it moves to Tuesdays and begins with a two-and-a-half-hour premiere on September 26.

In addition to airing on ABC, the film will also be streamed live on Disney+ and available the next day on Hulu.

A year ago, she said she had been “afraid” of her parents’ death all her life.

Paul died of natural causes after battling several health issues in recent years.
